i would say go with the RB25 Mitch

that way the can will be legal and wont have much hassles

but your call really

if the motor just needs a small scale rebuilt then do that

whatever you do mate goodluck with it and hopefully see you out and about soon

Im not sure what the law is but if you change back to a 25 you may need to go through regency so that they can approve the new engine number to make it legal. You may want to ring them and find out.

At work today thinking about next yr. Wondering if i should save up spend 10k on a engine or spend a month holidaying in Japan.

hmm hard choices.

Don't forget a 1/3 of that has to come my way :D

Pete it was finnaly good to meet you and have bit of a gas bag about the old Valiants!

yeah it was good James, cheers for the chat

I would also like a washer bottle that fits in despite my ic piping. I assume if Damo got one made up it would fit my car too? I can supply my oem washer bottle motor if he wants to integrate it (which would be preferable).

yeah, he'd do that with the OEM gear (basically it would be a solid replacement to the factory plastic ones)

oh, and cos i can

man i still lose my shit every time i watch this :(

Getting given 10 massive bags/boxes full of baby goods, and having to sort them out while massivly hungover= FAIL

finding 6 xxx DVDs in the bottom of one of the boxes, without wendy noticing = WIN!

i cant believe how many cops were out last night as it was!!!!! sooo many more than friday night

i know, i came from down pt noarlunga, there was an drug test van as ya head down into porties (just afta ya come round from murray rd), plus 2 separate RBTs on Anzac Hwy

surprisingly no cops at the bay or anywhere near hindley / rundle. most of their hindley fun has been taken out by closing that section off on a sat nite

    • When you pulled it off, there is no signs of blown head gasket? Is it possible you have some other issues going on? Possible cracked blocked? Or do you think it's straight up lifting the head? Did you check what the head was torqued to before pulling it down (To see if possibly they're stretching, or starting to break threads out etc)?
    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
