Better yet, just give Dave the $900 and he can be the hooker and I'll still get a blowj....

Wait... :P

:D

I'm a bit busy trying to sort shite with the new vehicle today, but if I get a moment I'll get on yahoo for ya :P

cheers man no rush

On another note I fking love my new car :banana:

I never knew RB20s could be so torquey :O even being hampered by 3.9s in the diff and 215/60/16s on the back it still accelerates smoothly and quickly from no revs.

Can't wait till I coin up and chuck a 2way in it with 4.3s and some 205/55s

LOL yeah I dunno they just look weird. How massive is that wing though

Also, no luck on the guards Steve. There was only 2 ads which featured that blue 4 door with them and they were for 'side step' and 'RIYAUINGU' (rear wing)

Might check again tomorrow or something, I think the ads usually have a day or so turn around from when their old one ends to when they put a new one up.

stupid question yes but how do you fill up a bucket at the local happy wash type of car wash?

i know this guy that knows a guy that put his car wash stuff ready in the bucket and hit it with the highpressure hose. resulting in about 100L of foam covering him and about 2 drops of water in the bucket.

................yes that guy was me. doh

If I ever sell up/someone writes it off... hello V35 350GT... would make such a good daily. Doesnt have the look of the typical Skyline so doesnt attract scumbags - blends in with the Camrys and the Commodores lol

lool, stoopid ass! you didnt think to use one of the "non high-pressure" options, like spotless free rinse?

Spitting in the bucket would have filled it quicker too

mate most happy washes have a tap spout near the little house deal where you get coins???, (for washing out sham's or filling buckets),, or put the soap in after the bucket is full...and stir with hands to make foam..???? another way spray the sprayer into a rag to keep the water in the bucket while filling on high pressure

keeps you from looking like a frothy maniac escaped from glenside..hahaha

    • Mixing things up - installed some leather recaros to match the leather seat covered rear seats. Interior looks pretty schmick now except for some slight wear on the steering wheel which I will monitor and address if it becomes worse or actually noticeable!

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
