There's a group buy on SAU for rotors + pads, run by rs73 I think his name is, he'll hook you up with a good buy. As for the lines, there's another group buy, $200 or so for ADR approved ones. All up you'd be flirting with the $1000 mark

haha no I wasn't there, lol (all the info is on a public register anyway).

So you still haven't said whose affidavit it was and why (if you did nothing wrong) you didn't contest it yourself.......you don't need a lawyer if you were as prepared as you say you were. It's worth a crack while you're already there if it means saving some $$ and 3 points possibly....what did you have to lose, you're already there and prepared??

If it's all in a public register than you should go look it up you'll find it under 'bent over for running an amber light'. I stated already that it wasn't worth the money for a lawyer to risk losing when it's my word against a cop and I've got 9 points in the bank.

You want me to name to cop that wrote the affidavit? and my name?

Why would I do that?

It's quite clear to me that you obviously hang on every word that any cop has ever typed in an affidavit and believe it's impossible for a cop to get it wrong in an affidavit.

I commend you SLED for being a believer, good on you.

Now I'll cease posting anything else that remotely comes close to the law or law enforcement.

Far out Talbo, if I was you I'd go easy .... that was a big knee-jerk reaction to a fairly harmless (and in fact in some ways reinforcing) post by Sled .... you had better hope he is in a good mood when he reads that, as if he is not I suspect you might get a little holiday from the forums :D

^ wont let me upload decent large songs.

the ones I put up were rather simple. but you get the idea.

Are you on www.mixupload.com.au? Try that out... you can upload your own full mixes, etc. Awesome site.

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone can explain to me the process of "importing" a car from interstate? Thanks in advance :D

Bring it over, go through Regency to get a ID check, rip a skid on the way to getting your new number plates, win.

But i always use a rubber even though the gf has the implant. My gf tried to tell me i should go on the pill (male contraception) i told her to just kick me in the balls whilst im asleep.

Pffft, I got a delivery coming today in the form of a nice fat envelope with lots of $$$ :)

F**K YOU TOO DAMO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cara! I gave you advanced warning about that and you still fell for it

Anyone amazingly good at removing turbo's from a R32 GTR?

Would like to start saving to get them rebuilt (seals are on the way out, and I want to get rid of that ceramic, pottery wheel) because I want to stay legal... for the moment... :)

Just want to know if it's a huge job or not? I've heard it's pretty difficult!

If I didn't have so much work around the house to do (house extension) I'd be happy to play with a GTR. If no one steps up, I may be able to squeeze an hour or two out this weekend (or next) to help.

    • Starter motors used to use the weight of metal (magnets) to provide torque. Now they use (more) current instead. This. It's completely normal.
    • So thing that had me stumped, but I think is OK....is that when it was up in the air, in neutral I had it running to bleed to coolant while I put the wheels back on. I noticed the rears were turning (slowly) which I'd never seen before 20250928_163512.mp4     Because there had been an issue with clutch slip due to pedal adjustment on the dyno, I assumed there was still and issue so spent some quality time upside down under the dash adjusting the pedal....but no matter what I did the wheels still turned in neutral. Even disconnected the master cylinder to pedal rod and same. In despair, I even removed the clutch slave so there was no chance of any preload causing it.....still happened. So either: 1. Something is not right in the bellhousing, or 2. Its a thing sometimes with cold, thick gearbox oil Internet says it might be 2, I hope so!
    • OK, few more things sorted and it is ready for a shakedown on 10-Oct, with one weird thing. Changed the run in oil and filter for the good stuff. 8l came out, about 8.5 went in with filter so that looks all good. Changed the starter (again), this time for a brand new one, works good. Interesting that the Taaaarks one is shorter than factory but spins harder, I guess electronics have moved on a little in the last 30 years. Will be nice to have a bit of extra space under there. Put the timing cover back on, and noted where the cam gears were set as a record.  Will need to double check the timing but it is pretty close. Also put the coil pack cover and intake snorkel back on. Exhaust Inlet Changed the water out for coolant, bled up nicely. Removed the rear brake pads (well worn factory sumitomo ones!), gave the hardware a good clean and reassembled. I've put bendix XP on the back again because the price is excellent at $150 a set and they worked well on the V37. Front pads have plenty so no issue there
    • Mine is all -12, I’m running a dry sump in a billet block though
