I run on ElF (whatever Simon recommended at Morpowa) before that I was on castrol EDGE

Im just curious about this oil as I have had the owner of the business talking about it to me for about half an hour! haha

ok everyone calm down.

Ripper is obviously young and didn't think about what he was posting or thought about the ramifications.

Ripper, please tone it down.

Everyone else, give the kid a break. I have deleted and cleaned up the posts. No more - I don't have time

Young and dumb. Now PMing me shooting his mouth off. See below ...

No, but you sent me this PM:

Uncalled for. Say it to my face or not at all. There are rules to be followed. The rules were pointed out to you, but you chose to slag cops and now the members of SAU. :)

You've been added to my block list. Anything further to say to me, say it to my face ... but it won't happen.

Its more legit then that haha.

Its sold in a few different Dyno shops, Its around the same price as your top quality synthetic oil so around $75 i think.

They are an American company but he now makes it here (properly in a factory with chemit chemical guys etc).

Im going to do some more research!

Hmmm, Im from USA and in racing there a lot of years, never heard of it!!!

Amsoil or Redline is popular in states

if you watch the ads supercheap has castrol edge synthetic for 30 odd bucks , 20 something off normal

You can feel the difference(smoother Idle and seems a tiny more mid range KW, seat of the pants feel) over Mobil 1 or Shell Synthetic, and heaps cheaper when on sale ???

Motul is good, Redline, Mobil 1, Royal Purple, and a few others in town too.but cost a fair bit not on sale?

Yeah he said that Royal Purple is really good but heaps expensive.

I would be able to get this oil at cost price cos I work with him, that the main reason why im interested in its performance.

Have you enquired with Cara (MissR34) about oils?

Have you enquired with Cara (MissR34) about oils?

Nope, never really looked into it before. I have always gone with the big recommended and trusted names or whatever Morpowa are using in the drift cars.

    • I may have my math slightly wrong, I'm not double checking that again, but the factory spec for fuel pressure is to set it with the engine IDLING (in vacuum). That spec is 51PSi while idling. So now add +10psi for atmospheric, and +7 for 7psi of boost, and we need 68psi of fuel pressure at full noise, and 51psi idling. That's according to the FSM I found last night for M35. So MINIMUM fuel pressure should be 51psi and it climbs from there.
    • Provided that what you see makes sense and is not "linear" between, say 1.9 and 2.1 volts and that's the whole range you get. You still need it to be doing one end of the 0-5v range at one end of travel, and the other end of the 0-5v range at WOT.
    • So just calibrate whatever voltage the closed position and full throttle position is and check linearity ? Sounds good to me
    • go look at the live data, and slowly open and close the throttle, if it is moving in a linear fashion, just do a re-calibration. OR if you really want to, adjust the TPS position so it's under 1V (no need to be bang on a 0,45V, it's not a stock ECU), then recal. Job done, rip skids, post it here.
    • Looks better than dusted paint, and also looks better than the old OEM one, much happy
