34's, even with the digital odo, are just as easy to change the K's as a regular dash!

Aussie Skylines will always have higher K's, as most of them are driven daily and long distances (eg. Cara).

:P

well i figured out why my car was so laggy in first and second gear today while she was being serviced this morning.......had a massive crack in the cold air intake pipe :( and the piping hasnt even been in the car for 3 years yet  , also explains why she has been running like shit too...poor thing....oh well the plastic piping has now been replaced with a metal one now.............and i must say.......Miss Besty now has her balls back :D

I thought you travel from here to... everywhere everyday in your 34? You'd be racking up the K's?

I found a 1 Yen coin under the back seat in the GTR the other day. And a whole heap of fluff.

That was my highlight of the day.

Yeah I found 5 coins and some Japanese Coca-Cola merchandise behind my door when I got it. I left it all in there though.. didn't wanna upset the balance.

best y

worst car name eva :(

you are in stiff competition with my

daisy dato - sounds old, things pushing up daisys and its like driving miss daisy rolling in it.

sue 32 - has a nice ring to it

My rolla is called Miss Lucy :P

speaking of being BLOWN hard and going fast, I saw a Black HSV R8 holden with a massive polished FMIC yesterday and heard the whine of a funny car coming from it ..in seaford

sounded porn and looked pretty stealthy , beside the massive whine and fmic it looked like a normal R8 with stock wheels etc.

Cara is going to be a whiner soon......lol tailem bend hoon..lol

are you going to "Cowboy Up" your daily Cara ? lights, antennas, mud flaps etc

well now that you have mentioned it Troy............... :P

had the car for a couple months shy of 2 years now and only raked in just under 20,000km in that time :D

WTF :P

I had my Chaser for 6 or 7 months and put over 15000 kays on it :(

I think I put about 60000 kays on my old AE86 in the 2 years I had it. I was doing hills runs every weekend, sometimes both nights, up to 500 kms in 2 nights of driving (not counting the 70-80odd kay round trip to work )

this would be a blast !!!!

Well, Tracy and I discussed selling one of our properties today.

We just want more freedom and now is the time to sell. Anybody want a 3 bedroom house in the Mansfield Park area for $340K? :(

We're going to keep our other property ... its a much larger property. Now we have more freedom to do what we want with the extension. About to get onto the bank and a real estate agent. Mum is moving out of the house end of this month. Not much time.

Hmm ... R34 GTR Vspec :P

    • They're all horrible. X-Trails have had a nasty sounding 4cyl since forever, no matter what engine family it came from. The CVTs only made that worse. Then the whole Renault thing only made every Nissan that was contaminated by them even worse again. The only fun I've had in a X-Trail was having it blown sideways across a frozen Minnesota highway at 90 mph trying to make it to the airport to get out of the frozen hellhole of Hoth. Nearly died. Was great fun.
    • Alrighty, I'll have to grab a couple pics and type out something soon in another post. I haven't driven a modern X no, this would be the first one really. Yeah the rental boxes are always cheap as chips right? So I'd doubt that anyone was handing out GTs to go and abuse. But I s'pose I could be wrong for sure. New cars these days though? Pretty unimpressed with what I see now; 20 years and all that, like you said. It just kind of worked out to have these two cars now. I'm pretty pleased with that, don't need much else. I'm sure you lads are right about the temps and for sure, you wouldn't have much time to drive 'em down there if you all were like me. I do hate sweating all over the seats though😆
    • Let large companies that are making money off selling kits do the preliminary engineering for you. If they all do -10, then that is all you'll ever need.
    • Hopefully it ends up being something manageable, like a hone, rather than a full bore—it would be a huge relief if it’s not as bad as it looks. Hang in there; these setbacks are annoying, but it sounds like you’re handling it as smartly as possible.
    • At the end of the day, it’s all about understanding the odds and being comfortable with the potential cost, whether it’s horsepower on a build or chips on a roulette table. And I have to say, the Laine example made me laugh—some people really do embrace that carefree, “roll and see” attitude!
