EBC's control boost & make the boost come on alot more harder then a T Peice will and defeinatly control boost spike especially if your looking at holding decent power where 1 - 2 psi extra will cause your car to detonate and end up smashing pistons.

If you can afford it and are looking at running more then 10 - 12psi a EBC is definatly the thing to buy.

Buy a apexi powerFC boost controller that works in conjunction with a powerFC if thats the ECU your going to be running, stealth as, its easy to hide the boost solenoid in the engine bay and can all be controlled using the hand controller or laptop via the tuner I think,

Thats what I am going for anyways. I will have a bleed valve forsale soon if your keen Cara - Its a turbosmart one lol

EBC's have flashing lights!!!!

oh how exciting

JK has said to get a ebc......but i not sure whats the best for what im doing, ive seen a turbosmart single stage boost controller....would that be ok?

turbosmart eh? hmm, last i looked into turbosmart, well... yeah. say no more i spose.

once i get my hybrid tuned, ill let you know how it goes.

i dont think id be runnign anywhere near 12psi anyway

maybe only 7-8psi

or, you could get a DET and run 12psi.

You don't need a boost controller for 7psi >_>

+1 what he said

actuators come in all sorts of settings but I know that 7, 14 and 20psi are rather common

i have stock gtr with stock turbos but the ebc lets me run to 14, and when i get my n1's I'll be able to go to 20 no sweat

if you're running steel turbines I don't see why you wouldnt be running 14 at a minimum (unless the neos cannot hack it? I wouldnt know tbh), and if you are going to run 14, the ebc will make a noticable difference

She wont be able to fun F all boost cos the engine is an NA with high compression, I think even 7 psi would be giving an NA a pretty hard time.

fair enough. consideirng the 25det engine + loom isnt that pricey, the det does make sense considering the cost/hassle to fit the turbo onto the NA

ive decided that my soldering iron sucks.

EDIT: not to mention references to "African Americans"

LOL, you're asking for a stick up your bum Dave

it is possibly that may have too much bad language... hmmm...

    • UPDATE: Yes the GSP Axles are compatible. I installed it on my R34 today and they are working a treat! Turns out that the S13, S14, S15, and 200 SX all used the same axles as the HR34, and ER34 NA models. Which is 2 bolt x 3 pairs.
    • Also build this EH ute with 370z motor and gearbox with a couple of turbos just for fun.
    • Got the passenger door on plus the master cylinder and booster. Loaded up to take it home. At home, the colour changes a lot in the light.
    • Nothing cheap, but I have seen the AC Hydraulic DK13HLQ which is pretty close to what you're asking for. The problem is the hydraulic cylinder mandates that the back of the jack be a certain height and Skylines have fairly deep inset floor jack points. A more certain and cheap option is to get some nominal 2x10 inch lumber boards and have one board be 1.5 feet, the other board 3 feet. Glue it all together with lots of clamps to maintain pressure. Make two of these. The ramp suggested above is a good idea, it takes quite a bit of clutch slip to get over each of the boards. I only need the first ~1.5 inches for my low profile jack on a standard ride height car but a lowered car you want to go up to the full ~3-3.5 inches. Paint it or store indoors if you want it to last.
    • Ok. And Nistune? I read (here too) mainly on Stagea threads that it can by "turn off" with Nistune. But they say they still had the sensor plug in. Next week iam going to the Nistune(and other ECUs) tuner so i can finally make it work. I drove the car home and apart from the cut it drove great. No misfire no smoke no hesitation or rough start...so hoping it is this sensor that is missing
