shouldve got a set that are base height adjustable. run as low as you want without having a crazy uncaptive spring.

but yeah, run it a little high, bout the height of heslo's car would be ideal, low cars sucks.

Truth! Looks the goods, handles well and you're not dragging your ass around everywhere

yeah that's why i love my progressive spring rate

can anyone tell me how much power i might be able to gain with a set of cams (not shafts etc. just the gears) on a rb26? tuned once their on of course.

just trying to see if its even worth getting them.

Rental property got broken into over night I just found out, they basically stole everything and I mean everything from dishwashers to toilet bowls, door bells, kitchan taps, cleaning fluids. Pretty crazy. Cops know who done it tho.

Power gain would be minimal, but the cam gears will help bring the power forwards in the rev range.

Just changed my fuel filter and damm, the fuel that came out of it was black as lol. All better now with a new one on and minimal fuel lost.

Pliers make alright fuel line clamps with cable ties around the end lol.

With big turbos cams can make you up to 50kw depending on the size of the turbo and the amount of head work done as they allow you to move the turbos into their efficiency range, but like chad said with small turbos they won't affect peak power much but will allow you to move the power around the rev range and can get you some nice gains on torque.

Here's some graphs from when we were playing with the cam gears on my car.

First, does it make any beeps when you turn it on? If it does, what's the sequence? This can determine if it's a dead video card, RAM, CPU, etc.

Second, can you try another monitor? Have you tried unplugging it from the video card and plugging it back in?

If it was a dead hard drive, the PC would at least still turn on to display the BIOS, etc.

I think what Luke is referring to as the 'hard drive' is the actual case/box, as many noob PC people do.

Take it to someone who knows what a 'hard drive' actually is Luke - mehinks you are not about to figure this one out yourself :bunny:

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
