Yeh it's not good but sadly a lot of cars get knocked off from that carpark

hehe I bet you thought it was my car that got nicked when you read this eh Chris?

You scared the shit out of me!

My car was delivered to my garage, stayed there over night... Next day, it had insurance on it... stayed there still, Next day, it had an alarm in it... THEN i took it out

I think they (assuming all these factory looking 33s being stolen is organised) target factory looking cars so they aren't noticable...

Yeah 3rd party fire & theft as a minimum on a daily and nothing short of full comp on any line!

I insured both cars (full comp) the day before I picked em up....with alarms installed the very next day even if it already had one...

Hope he finds it.... as Sl!m asked... anything like wheels, tints, stickers etc to look out for???

Hmm I'd better buy that new front bar then!! I needed a good excuse

Anna: No nothing as far as I've been told, the guy probably doesn't know what kind of wheels he had on it, sounded pretty green on imports when I heard from him

Anyone driving without insurance is a dolt.

Like said before "I just got the car" is no excuse. What happens if you run into the back of a Ferrari on the way home from the seller?

You should have insurance from the day you pick up the car.

Whats a DOLT?

First rule of buying a car: make sure you insure it the day that you purchase it. Simple as that. As Liz said if you can't afford insurance you can't afford a car. Tough luck to the guy but that is the risk you take.

Oh i see - i like that word

You should really be a club member, you're missing all the whoring in the members section

Club member = whoring?

I'm there!

Seriously I'm such a dirty postwhore that convinced me to sign up (again)

Don't tell me I have to go through the whole filling out form stuff again?

i did, i was thinking NOOOO!!!!

still terrible, hope he finds it....

Hehe.. or maybe the insurance companies are working with organised crime to only steal cars which arent insured. Thieves get their cars, insurance companies get more business from scared car owners when they see all these uninsured cars getting pinched!

*Looks suspiciously at Chris*

lol at conspiracy theory..... actually now that I think about it...... *CHRIS!!*

I'm wondering if there is a link between this one and the last one that was a fresh import. Someone in the importing game I reckon.

yeh fair call, could be that....they jsut resell the same car a few times in different states or something....

Hi guys ...

well.. I'm/was the owner of that black Skyline that was stolen today...Sadly I made the wrong decision about insurance...I wanted to wait to get my full licence, which is next weekend:(... So it wouldve been insured from then on...I can tell that it was a stupid mistake now...

Plese guys help me out :P ive only had the car for less then 2months its a black R33 series 2, automatic, almost completely stock, stock rims, stock turbo, stock exhaust...had a hks bov and a turbo timer. everything else is stock.

It has two distinct marks on both rear quarter panels. about 10-15 cm long.

I hope the car is being seen/found somewhere.

Thanks heaps

Chris

My friend had his silver s15 stolen from there as well today. You might have seen him there today as well. His plates were MYS-15X. His car was insured luckily. Maybe you'll both get lucky and get them back..

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
