ok my thoughts are now $5 eats and drinks all day till everything is eaten and drunken

dont worry about drinks salad but i may get you to get 3-4 bags of ice,

and whos comming from north, south, east, west try to organise little cruises upto there like me and Heslo can travel together

im also thinking mixture of chille, beef and maybe one other flavour of sausage

Yep, that's fine with me, I'm coming from North East, just off Gorge Rd.

If anyone's real keen, we could even meet at the Caltex on Port Wakefield Rd and all head down in one group? Just an idea anyway.

This is a great idea, shame its such short notice though i would of definately been keen to take my car out on the track...

Will you be doing something like this again in the near future?? If so im definately keen

Ill definately come out to watch. Im trying to track down a helmet big enough to fit my head :laughing-smiley-014:. If mister tax man gives back the money that he owes me soon i might be able to hit the track.

There isnt a motorkhana or hill climb coming up soon is there ;)

I forgot to say that im from Golden Grove and am always up for a mini cruise down there

OK, I'll get onto it now.

Also, I would be driving, but engine building doesn't isn't kind to me :( Giving the engine another crack this weekend, and if it works, I'll have 1 week to get it tuned, space my front swaybar down and fix my brakes... And then hope to god nothing lets go at Mallala... Wishful thinking ;)

MikeyGTRMike: I plan trying to organize another one probably in January as there are no other dates scheduled for circuit practice days for the rest of the year that I can attend. May also try and organize the same thing for a motorkhana or a drift day if anyone else is keen on those two ideas. I dont think the drift day one would work that well, but motorkhana might be a go'er. Cheap too, $25 to drive! ;)

Next one will have much more notice before the event :P

It's just a normal practice day held by Mallala, so just rock up and drive through the gates >_<

Will have to bring a little bit of money for the BBQ, I've just send Madaz a PM asking how much he'll need, so I'll post up and put it in the original post when I find out :)

Also, everyone check the original post to see if you're down for coming or not. If not, give me a yell and I'll chuck your name in there :)

ill probly end up coming up for a watch, would be keen to drive but have begun pulling things apart on the car as have almost 2 months now till next drift prac, so bit of time to play round.

But yeah, definately keen to come watch, unless Flick wants to let me take her car out........... >_<

    • Hi GTSBoy, Excuse my ignorance but what does a "Bad" Knee point mean ?
    • HFM BM57 has a "bad" knee point, IIRC. It's not the same thing as the later R chassis MC.
    • The ATTESSA is functionally identical to R34; there were a bunch of JDM models that continued ATTESSA including Fuga/Q70, Skyline/Q50, Cima etc as an option. All with Auto only and I think mostly for snow regions. AFAIK there were no AWD VR30DDTT sold in Australia - it is on my to do list to check regs for racing a LHD car in Targa/ATR/AASA/CAMS events because if I can get the auto to work it would be interesting to run a 4wd car The Ecuteck TCM tuning is the same model as their ECU tuning, they already have it for R35 and Dose's favourite, BMW. You buy "points" to allow your computer to be tuned, buy either a bluetooth (phone app) or bluetooth+USB+Key (phone and PC) dongle, and pay for a tune that will be locked to your tuner ( ). You can also access the tuning software yourself but 1. it is mega expensive and 2. these computers have a billion parameters that intersect, so how could you ever spend enough time on it to get a decent result.
    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
