hey we should hit up BP for sponsorship !

hey Kirstie get on google earth or google maps or something and send us an aerial view of the spot!

HAHA dale u are a crack up mate, hope to catch you down there if u still coming. Ill bring the second traitormobile and we can show some rb's what torque is :)

i have info that Mitchy and Kylie are also coming along from what ive been hearing so add them to the list

im starting up the stagea for the first time on saturday morning so i mayyyyy be able to bring it down on the lousy run in tune if im feeling confident with it lol

Hiya everyone

Thought after the last cruise that it was about time i organised another one. Thinking of heading up North something like York for a bbq lunch with a little bit of a country drive. Have two dates in mind have made a poll so that you can vote on the best weekend for you. Once we have a confirmed date ill post up some details :P

This will hopefully be as good as the others that i have organised and hopefully it will also provide a chance for the new stagea owners to come and meet the 'old crew' but it will also give us a chance to check out the new rides that have come to Perth over the last few months since the last meet.

Cheers everyone

Wildcat

p.s for those who dont have their stageas yet or for those that want to come along, im sure there will be rides you can tag along in or your more than welcome to bring your own cars :)

DATE : Sunday 11TH NOVEMBER

TIME : 10am meet 10.30 leave

LOCATION : City West

Bring a full tank of fuel

Picnic Gear + cooking utensils

Bring lunch (bbq areas will be available for those who are going to bbq with us)

Cameras

Citywest as in Plaistowemews/railway tce kirsty?

humour us country folk

Yes Graham Railway Pde and Sutherland Traffic lights most turn right and then left into the City West carpark otherwise if you take Plaistowemews/railway pde you just have to drive around to the other side

hopefully that helps the country folk :D then you can help us when we head to the middle of no where on this cruise

i was looking forward to the cruise but found out this morning (the mrs didnt think it was necessary for me to know) we have a family birthday,so sorry all goin to have to give it a miss, definitly next time

thanks to Kirstie for Organising that ! was a good day indeed and both Loretta and I enjoyed putting faces to names.

we cruised back twith the 2 260s behind us >_<

and a traitormobile  !!

Damn that thing is decieving, doesn't feel particularly fast, but the speedo tellls a whole different story (on private roads of course)

you reckon its got more oomph than the stageas?

I must admit it did look mean from the front

thanks to everyone who turned up...thought it was a nice day out (not too hot either)..definately nice to see everyone and to see you Sean and Loretta....my daughter now says she was Aunty Loretta after the bubbles :D

We were at the back of the pack heading back and noticed the events unfolding with the white stageas and the traitormobile...sure was interesting to watch ;)

the traitormobile is lighter and has alot better average power/torque than the rb26 engines thats for sure, i know i own a 26 and they are alot different to the mitsubishis idea of a turbo engine which use tiny tiny responsive turbos. Mitchy the car looked great i like the shape better than the stagea to be honest :)

I should be in for the xmas lights cruise if its gonna be planned as my car is running fine and should be run in and possibily tuned for nice power by then, and then ill show the traitormobile some taillights :P

    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
    • Can I suggest you try EBC directly again and link them to as many competitor catalogues as you can to show their listing is incorrect, eg https://dba.com.au/product/front-4000-series-hd-brake-rotor-dba42304/ If you have access to an R33 GTST VIN and your VIN, you could also use a Nissan Parts lookup like Amayama to show them the part number is different between 33 GTST and 34 GTT which may get their attention
    • So i got reply from EBC and they just this site where you can clearly see those 296mm fronts on R34 GTT. I send them photos and "quotes" that 296mm are not for 34 GTT and they are too small. But it will be very hard to return them cuz nobody here knows 100% and they just copy those EBC catalogue :-D https://ebcbrakesdirect.com/automotive/nissan/skyline-r34
