Crd. ever heard of GTR-700? pretty reputable if u ask me.

Yeh lol of course i have who hasn't. Im probbly gona take it there but they mostly do big performance upgrades. tryin 2 find smaller shop if possible.

CRD...on one particular day we counted 17...YES 17 GTR's in the carpark and workshop either getting worked on or waiting to be worked on.

im sure that would have to be some sort of record...as i doubt you would even see that in Japan.

over in kirrawee on flora street in a complex auto sport i think it is

they do mostly jap cars, they send their heads 2 us to reco/ pressure test saw a SAU member there i spoke 2 him 4 a bit mentioned i had an r31

when i used to drive the work ute out there sometimes saw a couple club stickers on back windows

and they have a dyno

For most things I only take my cars to Grey Imports in Annandale. Just picked up my GTR from there today in fact after Nathan had done a few things for me and will take it back again next time. I know many of the other GTR owners I speak to daily will drive all the way across Sydney to get their cars fixed at his workshop.

Nathan also has another workshop at Mt White which he works at Fridays.

Nathan owns GTRs and there are always GTRs in his workshop.

Does this same subject get posted everyweek?

But on a lighter note, i have been so far blown away with DART automotive in punchbowl....3weeks to rebuild an engine! The car comes back next week sometime so i'll know then if Jim@DART is all that the regulars here have raved on about.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
    • Also wanted to say, my new spark plugs are blackened looks like it's very rich. I have splitfire coilpacks but stock coilpack loom and ignitor. I tried directly grounding the ignitor ground to body as well.
