Common people no need for all this tension and name calling, we had a good day lets leave it that so we can enjoy more days to come.

great turnout James, hope to see everyone on th 16th dec

cheers

joe

Cruise was great as usual, thanks to James for organising! Pizza afterwards was hectic (damn burnt my face off though :D ) Looking forward to the next cruise.

Also I'm with Abo Bob on this one. You guys are entitled to your opinions but keep the slang talk off the threads boys. Save it for the street because you're making us all look bad.

yeah guys, enough fighting before they close the entire events section and restrict it to paying members only. seems to be the next logical step after what happened in the community section, eh?

Of course we don't want to but most people can understand that Prank would not want the police and media pointing their fingers at him saying that he facilitates 'hoons' getting together for 'street racing' and 'burnouts' and whatever else they love to accuse us of.

As for fighting on the forums, it's ugly and no one wants it. The people involved might feel justified but for pretty much everyone else it's tacky and shite.

Everyone should check out this thread. Read all the posts by 10penceshort. It's a really long thread but you can ignore most of the other peoples posts.

Wow, that's a messed up story.

Reminds me why i don't push the limits on public roads.

Thanks to all who came on the day, and participated for the photos!

I had a talk to my brother (S14), not to drive like that again.. (CASE CLOSED)

Looking forward to the next one guys!

I believe we have already noted the behavior of some people on the cruises, I'm pretty sure they have been delt with and will keep within the limits next time.

Everyone had a pretty good run, hope to see you all next time.

To everyone who does go on my cruises:

Please respect the rules of this club, as its reputation is on the line, everytime we are out and about.

I love the drives, and do this for a social thing only:

- Meeting new people

- People helping others with problems on their cars

- the whole fun atmosphere

- and friends being made along the way

I have spoken to the people who do the occasional burnout and drift on my cruise, and they have promised to do this in their own time, not when cruising with everyone else.

So people please, just to re-iterate, lets respect one another.. The drives I organise, are for everyone to have fun, not to bicker like this.

Kind Regards,

James

Well said mate James. I did enjoy meeting everyone. I was a bit reserved about the sydney cruise scene coming from QLD but now that I've had a chance to meet a few people in it, I think I'm going to enjoy more cruises to come.

We will have to tone it down though. Since I was at the back of the pack going thru the national park, I was getting abused by all the on-comming traffic that had passed those few people that got a little to carried away on those tight corners. :D

Exactly Nathaniel.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Nice one James.

Yes, some of the convoy might think it's fun but they're forgetting about families driving past, getting disturbed and scared.

Good on you James for your posts.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
