If You Ever Needed A Good Reason To Get Full-comp...

Yeah, the guy in the echo did a right turn infront of us without checking to see if all lanes were clear. He drove into the front right of the BM which then put us onto a collision course with a power pole.

thats very strange....wonder if the kid is still alive or if his parents have killed him......

airbags didnt go off. wernt going fast enough... Insurance company will be doing all the 'cleaning'.. I have no sympathy for anyone his situation. If you are stupid enough to see the stakes are so high just to drive around then when you lose out you can deal with it. I took that same route in the DB9 a few weeks back... Imagine if he hit that.

thats not a pretty sight. yeah that particular section sees alot of accidents. ive had my fair share of close calls there.

the kid probably wanted to play some lan games..lol i dont think he will be playing or walking for a while when his parents have their way with his arse.

surprised the kid didnt do a runner..lol.

insurance is good.

geez ouch... glad you guys are okay, had you been going quicker it could have been really bad... nice to have 1.5 tonnes of german engineered metal around you when sh!t like that happens... riding a motorbike FTL!

and what happened to teh mad dutton driving skillz... you should have yanked the handbrake and drifted around the pole;)

LOL @ the bimmer with kit pic

stupid unlicensed drivers....

hitting an E39 is bad enough (come near my M5 and all hell would have broken loose), but it could have been a LOT worse... could have been a P1 lambo or something. His life would have been financially ruined. He'll still be paying off the insurance company for years..

Now come on... what do you have knockoff E60 M5 wheels on the E39 for? :worship: If anything put a set of E39 M5 wheels on.... but make sure they are original :excl:

    • I think Fitmit had some, have a look on there (theyre Australian as well)
    • Hah, fair enough! But if you learn with this one you can drive any other OEM manual. No modern luxury features like auto rev-matching or hillstart assist to give you a false sense of confidence. And a heavy car with not that much torque so it stalls easily.
    • Actually, I'd say all three are the automatic option. Just the different trim levels. The manual would be RSFS, no?
    • What Duncan said sounds right. Also, it looks like they only have the driver's mat. Not the rest. Because looking at the diagram: KG4911 is just the mat for the driver. KG4900 is the full set if I'm not mistaken and discontinued.   But, it looks like they may still have the full set for the manual S2. Might be worth checking for the other models as well as they seem slightly different. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/stagea/wgnc34/6649-rb25det/misc/G49 Man, I'm tempted.
    • I dunno about that as a blanket statement. Pitwork is Nissan's "Nissan genuine" thing, and for stuff like timing belts, I have found them to be excellent. Of course, for things like oil filters, you always use proper trusted brands anyway, not whatever the OEM has taken to using.
