Fuck you 33 drivers. None of you ever wave. I'd like to inform you that you're not superior to jack and or shit.

Now now John, don't you think the non-waving asshats are individuals and not car-related??? I wave at every Skyline on the road and have led campaigns for waving at fellow Skyline drivers.

I drive a R33 Skyline and I have feeling and I wave.

I can confirm Dave's willingness to wave... hi Dave!! *waves furiously*

Spotted a farken MINT looking, angry sounding 33 on the Bruce Hwy last night, heading southbound, being hassled by some tards in a V6 Commo (VR/VS with those ghey clear tail lights, and a red P plate) who were obviously looking for a race. Grats on ignoring them and letting them disappear into the distance

I second that, shut up Johny Boy! You sound very judgemental - No wonder no one wants to wave at you. :)

On another note, Spotted a really nice blue R32 parked in a drive way off Discovery Drive on the Coast today!

:) Hi!

Are you around here?

Yeah, moved down to Alex Hills from Mt Gravatt about a couple of months ago. Only around here for a month though as moving down NSW again.

You around the area much? First time I spotted you around Capalaba

Oh and while I'm posting, spotted an R35 GTR last Friday on the way home from work. Tried to drive up next to you to commend you on such a great purchase.. but you kept backing off? :ermm:

sif wave to you, I have a R35 GTR at home.....

as my computer wallpaper

you never have waved you bastard :action-smiley-069:

and neither have you, Dave! :)

Z33 drivers don't wave either! It's something about the number!

I get waves from R32s, R34s, Z31s, Z32s and Stageas. But not 33s.

spotted this beast yesterday. big fan of the old vw's

Ah, I see, not too far from me.

I'm always around here, i'm in Capalaba.

Surprised you haven't seen me around. Always around place, going through alex hills down to ormiston/cleveland.

Fair enough, going down for good?

Was it a Black 35? He lives down Lyndon Rd somewhere, I always see if going that way on Redland Bay Rd. I wave and he thinks i'm a hoon.

went out on a cruise yesterday to mt tamborine. spotted a very nice red r34 on the way at about 11am i think? and then cruising to ipswich i spotted yellow r32, 032-cya on the ippy m-way. very nice car tristan :P:) i couldn't help but drool over it! we'll have to catch up sumtime and go on a cruise.

Defs bud, The 33 is not coming along too badly either. See you own a 33 and still wave to others. That must make about 5 in QLD that are not too busy to acknowledge others.

Silver R33 in eatons hill this afternoon, with led tail lights and a big SAU sticker on the side quarter panel.

Sounded nice

I was in the silver xr6, trying to get beside you to give you a wave.

sounds like you may have spotted the rear admiral

    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
    • Yeah, I would have said the same. It makes me suggest that there are other things wrong, such that the ECU is totally unhappy with the broken sensor. The only other thought here is that maybe it is shorted, which might cause a different issue to the typical "disconnected" sensor.
