De-badged

On the boot lid of an R34 its got the nissan symbol and it writes skylinne at the bottom yeh.... what will happen if i de badge it??? whats uder there... the reason is coz ive seen 34z wif out it and i rekon it looks better... will there be holes or any thing??? or is it on wif glue? and if so is it a do it urself job???

there'll be a couple of holes, and the outline of the hamburger logo still on the paint (duco underneath won't have weathered the same as the stuff not covered)

Are you sure there will be holes? I don't think those badges would.

If you plan on taking them off, just use a heat gun and some fishing wire. Heat up the glue and use the fishing wire to 'scrape' the badges off from behind. You can use some sort of cut and polish to get rid of some of the outline.

i wouldn't until without re-spraying the car...

i have an apexi badge i want gone.... but the re-spray's coming soon so i'm just a gonna wait

yeah just leave it aye, cheappest option, i just de-badged my GTT symbol..

if you relly wanna do it, just using a hit gun, or really hot water on it, then give it a jiggle, then is will come off

No, there are no holes. There was an article in HOT4s where they debadged an R34 GTT the same as you want to do. Just use a hair dryer (heat gun will be better) and floss or fishing line. How faded is your paint? If it has faded, you'll see where the badged were, but otherwise you'd never know they were there

no holes...jst take them off...if it does leave a mark you can always stick it back on the original position.

i took it off a few days ago and its just perfect

smoothh very happy wif it and looks much better... i only took off the nissan badge... left the skyline bit

theres actually no shade but the next time i wash my car wich should be tomorow i will give it a nice polish
