i want that front bar and bonnet...

Hey,

Best of luck finding your car mate.

Might be moving to SA soon...whats the deal--every page on the SA forum has two stolen cars listed. I mean when you guys meet up for a cruise do you end up comparing how many don't have cars anymore? I know lines get stolen alot, but this seems out of control.

I really do not understand why these silly people don't at least have Fire and Theft cover.

It costs bugger all compared to full comp insurance.

When i enquired fire and theft cover only covered about $3000, then they make you get full comp. I tried this with shannons and just car insurance. What company are you with that offers 10K not bad?

sorry to hear, that looks like a nice car, it stand out so hopefully someone will see it. the amount of skylines being taken is pretty bad. Sucks you didnt even have third party like the rest have said, Im with just cars fire and theft and it cost me $580 a year upfront for a 19 year old female driver and pay out is $10k..but sucks because even if my car is taken i still wont find another skyline like mine for 10,

    • What Duncan said sounds right. Also, it looks like they only have the driver's mat. Not the rest. Because looking at the diagram: KG4911 is just the mat for the driver. KG4900 is the full set if I'm not mistaken and discontinued.   But, it looks like they may still have the full set for the manual S2. Might be worth checking for the other models as well as they seem slightly different. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/stagea/wgnc34/6649-rb25det/misc/G49 Man, I'm tempted.
    • I dunno about that as a blanket statement. Pitwork is Nissan's "Nissan genuine" thing, and for stuff like timing belts, I have found them to be excellent. Of course, for things like oil filters, you always use proper trusted brands anyway, not whatever the OEM has taken to using.
    • Ahhhh... If you were putting 12V to the led in there, that's likely made it very unhappy. Chances are how you put power, was 12V across an LED that's meant to only have about 20mA through it at peak, and a forward voltage of about 1.8 to 2.4 volts. That circuit is likely only a 3V3 circuit, and will have a resistor in series with the led too. That's my guesstimate on that light, without having touched one.
    • Another vote for installing them and see how you go.  I mean, you already own them, why would you not fit them?
    • I have had too many of those over the years, my cars have a toolkit or at minimum a cheapy multi tool thing because its too easy to be snookered by some stupid plastic clip that stops you checking the battery terminal isn't loose.
