not sure about high beam as ive never knew anyone that used HID for high beam and also its not really recommended for off/on use continously as this might damage the bulb. low beam is ok cause it stays on until u stop driving.

No it doesnt. In my car when you turn on high beams the low beams go out.

I was under the impression that all R33's ect did that.

Or does Low beam stay on whole time?

i'm interested in these kits......

i have an r32 gtst 1992.

I have no idea what globes it has, how do i find out.

Also do the 6000k have that blue tinge to them?? is it more a bright white?

cheers

hey yogi,

R32 GTST should take H3 as my one does.

but its best to make sure.

go to your local supercheap or autobarn and ask them what bulb your car takes.

yes 6000k has a little slight blue tinge (not as much as 8000k) its the brighest white HID

im running HID's now as well. 6000k is definitely the way to go. 8000k way too blue for the streets and cops WILL bust yo ass for it! regards to installation its easy enough. can lend a hand if located in sth westrn sydney. the GB looking abit quiet elvis- sing em a song!

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
