MTQ Hi Flowed Turbo New bearing, new T04B compressor wheel, new turbine and steel shaft and overhaul kit. Includes braided oil inlet line.

Specs are equivalent to GCG XTRGTST-S1.

It made 202rwkw at 12psi on a R33 when tuned by JEM with stock internals, fmic, air pod, 3in exhaust, ebc and Power FC. Didnt want to proceed futher as AFM was maxing out and opted to wait for a Z32 AFM. A week before car hit a tree and was deemed a write off.

I am confident this baby monster will make 250kw with a Z32 AFM, little more boost and maybe injectors without a problem.

PM or reply for any questions.

reciepts for work? is it under any form of warrenty? has it been re overhauled or something?

I had my hiflow turbo done by MTQ in NSW @ Wetherill Park in Sydney. Turbo was really responsive and I was pretty surprised at the power I got out of it. From memory I payed about $1600 for the overhaul kit, braided oil line, and change of turbine wheels to larger steel ones. They basically swap out your turbo if you already have a stock one available.

I had a similar setup to the R33 in this topic, but I also had a walbro fuel pump, new coils and no injectors. I managed to get 240rwkw!! Not a bad upgrade for the R33, and man it was fun to drive. Too bad I had to sell the car. :D

I do have receipts from MTQ, as per add bearings, housing, turbine wheel and shaft have been changed along with seals. It is not under warranty as the car it came from has been sitting in a garage for some time and it wasnt until recently that the turbo was pulled off...

Hi Mate,

Im really keen on this, would you take $800?

If you would, give me your account details and ill deposit the money in tomorrow.

Are you able to show me receipt for the work done to it?

Im in Brisbane, do you want me to pay for shipping as well?

thanks

got one of these on my panda 33. awesome turbo with great response and mid-range power. mine come on full stock boost (10psi) at about 3000rpm ish which is nothing and when upped to 16psi the lag is only about nother 200rpm at most. bear in mimnd this is with a front mount as well so bit of lag there...truley a great value for money turbo in my opinion and would be the best upgrade possible for a stocker motor without upgrading injectors or anything. i put a new fuel pump in tho coz my old one died haha

GL with the sale and may the force be with you!

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
    • If it (the code) wasn't still current, it should have gone away by itself by now. No, nothing it 10/10. But it is quite likely. Everything else to do with the ignition could still be responsible (which is wires and connectors). The car is an old piece of shit now, so all the wires and connectors are also old pieces of shit.
    • Lock me in mate, although I'm not sure if I'll be heading up from Goulburn or down from Sydney, either way, return will be back to Goulburn
