dude that f'in sucks big time. how angry you must be. if i came out and saw that i would have thrown a fit in the street for sure.

I like many others share the vigilante idea. Teach the little fkers some respect.

As for your bad luck, i have good news for you, ITS OVER!!

bad luck comes in 3's for sure (call me superstitious, but so is believing in bad luck :) )

1. clutch gone 2. vandals 3. tow truck.

so hpefully your in the clear for a while.

how many members on this forum?? id be happy to give a couple of bucks- if everyone who feels for you gives you a couple of bucks you should be sweet :)

Bryanlee, we feel for you mate! i was in the same position the first week i got my car 3 years ago.

it s a nice car so they decided to dig a deep line along the bonnet for me.

so what i did was telling all my friends in the area if they know or hear anything, ill will deal with it very personnally. which is not a very good things to do, but i hope it did shit the d**khead in the pants though.

for your case, please think back if you have any conflict with whoever that knows what you drive and where you live. fellow cars lovers like that rexie owner wouldnt do such things i dont think, but again it may be personnal you see.

ron

p.s. gap filler or liquid nails are only 2 bucks . and think about it they came planned, not to steal but to vandalised, cos i wouldnt walk around carring a caulkgun!!!!

They definately know you i reckon. I think they must have a grudge against you and seen how protective you were of your car, so they thought they would put bodyfiller in your keyhole, along your doors etc to try and make the car so thief proof that you yourself couldn't even get into it. I reckon that was their line of thinking.

Scott.

sorry 2 hear that dude.......

it sh*ts me when such a nice car gets vandalise. Dont ppl have anything better 2 do.Go buy urself some explosive, hunt them down and blow up their cars, dogs, house and whateva else they own just 2 c how it feels like

good luck getting d car repair

Sorry to hear it Bryanlee38.

Try and turn the negative into a positive ... bog the other door shut, smooth it back, respray, take out the windows, and cruise around with shotguns dukes of Hazzard style!

Sucks to see there are so many wankers out there with nothing better to do than vandalise what they can't afford themselves

Just cars had it for 10 months then refused payout

Fixed it, drove it for about 18 months

then get stolen n striped, also fixed now.

...........wots gonna happen next.? Is u'r 3 times bad luck always right?

Bryan, man im currently 17 coming up 18, and i've been working since i was 15. Im getting my skyline in 04 but to think that those little ****ers would do something like that really dumbfounds me.... why to get kicks ? if they think like that they deserved to be locked up those little ****tards.

i cant tell you how much this shit pisses me off why do people act like bloody animals for? , do they really think by damaging ppls property someone will better there personal situation its like they were getting paid for this or something, actually im tipping if it were a work for the dole skeem "trash skylines" they would winge and still not do it . The other night i was waiting for my mate at his house had the car parked across the road due to too many cars parked in front of his house , when i went out to my car to go what do i find ? spit on the driver side of my window like thats suppose to hurt me the cowards, they cant afford it so whats second best spit on it! like water and soap didnt care of that little prob , but i swear on whats important to me if i catch these little pricks there not gona have mouths to spit from , man if you find out who did this clue their mouths shut with super glue let icu worry about em!

even the score equally!

"You're an ideas man a5h"

P1E...........

they reckon i deliberatly smashed it to get a full payout, they believe that there was an accident involved, but they reckon i hit it up more so it can be a write off. 14 points of damage to car including roof. Thats becoz there were heaps of little trees that came down on top of it. so yea. cbf to take it further n make a court claim thing.

Any had any problems with just cars like this? i think they are so crap. I'm with suncorp now.

brianlee ,i wouldnt be able to write that on here cos i would be out hunting .I sugest you go find a group of young ****s in ur area that hang out in a park or something and with a group of mates flog them black and blue and the tell them to find out who did it or you will be back next week .And go back next week to flog them again. These ****s that do this usually brag and word gets around. My bros car got broken into and this is the method we used .After 1 1/2 weeks some little poofter came up to my mates brother and handed the stuff he sole out of my bros car back and said he didnt know and that he was sorry and he was right!sorry he was!!! you will find them mate you just gotta look in the right places!I am in brizzy too and if you find out email me I get a bit bored some weekends

Those pictures have made me sick, some people are just brain dead. I really feel for you.

I only had my brand new Black VX SS 3 days before someone keyed it all the way along the passanger side, then a month later an old lady in a camry ran into the front of it while I was stopped and a month ago an asian lady ran into it a camry and last week I was coming out of a pub in Manly and when I got to the car some guy was at it and started abusing me telling me it was a shit box etc and how his Ferrari :P at home was so much faster and how if he saw it again he was going to key it! I had never seen this pissed bastard in my life but he looked like he didnt have alot of money so I doubt he really had a Ferrari... ;)

vandalism like this makes me disgusted with society. and the parents of these little shits who haven't instilled decent values from day 1.

makes me feel like grabbing some quick setting putty and plugging some holes in these little wankers. how embarrassing do you reckon a visit to the emergency ward would be with a rectum full of quick-setting enema? :P

qikr33 - well i could go around bashing the kids around my area, but they will know where i live. thus making my house more prone for graffith, vandalism, egging etc. I would love to beat the **** out of whoever did this, but i dont want to bash people who didnt do it. I hope fate will turn things around so i do get to meet the guy who vandalise my car. That would be fun

    • I thought I'd do a write up on an auto transmission fluid change for a the nissan 7 speed Automatic. At some stage the genius engineers decided that the fluid in the trans was "for the life of the transmission", (which seems kind of self supporting to me) and removed the dip stick and fill tube (funnily enough there is still a casting for it). Anyway, for this job you do need 2 specialist tools in addition to regular hand tools, jack and good chassis stands. You need a way to pump fluid up to the transmission; I got one of these but there are plenty of other options: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/364584087070 Don't trust the generic listing though, it does not come with the required adapter for the Nissan 7 Speed. You need one of these, can't do the job without it: https://navarapart.com.au/product/genuine-nissan-patrol-y62-d23-np300-navara-re7-dipstick-fill-connector1 You need a heap of compatible transmission oil. Could be Nissan, could be anything else rated for Nissan Matic S. You need at least 10 litres, I had 15 to give it a better flush... Also, you need some biiig oil catch trays, at least one of these, or bigger if possible (volume was fine, size was very marginal): https://autobarn.com.au/ab/Autobarn-Category/Tools-%26-Garage/Specialty-Tools/Oil-Service/Garage-Tough-Oil-Drain-Pan-Black-16L---GT1068/p/TO03191 Finally, a measuring jug is very useful if your pump does not have volumes marked on it, I got a 6l one: https://www.repco.com.au/oils-fluids/fluid-accessories/measuring-jugs/penrite-measuring-jug-6l-pmj006/p/A5322648 Oh, and gloves.....this stuff is horrible (not as bad as diff oil, but getting there) ....First, jack up your car.....
    • So I mentioned the apprentice, @LachyK helped take the bonnet off. We just undid the nuts on the hinges and unclipped the gas struts, then pulled the bonnet back a little as the front was catching on the front bar.  I had a good look at everything today and have removed the rams, repaired/reset the hinges and bolted it back together like it never happened. I'll do a separate write up on the repair, and I also removed the poppers from the Fuga today too to save grief down the road.....as said above it is at least $5k to repair retail. I'm also happier about my ability to prepare a race car, and less happy about Nis-nault's engineering (I can hear @GTSBoy sAfrican Americaning) because the top hose of the radiator didn't slip off.......it snapped clean off. By practice I put the hose clamp hard up against the flare on a neck to make it least likely to ever move (thanks @Neil!). I guess that puts a little more pressure on the end of the pipe as it is further away from the rad, but still, that is pretty shit. I've put it back on for now as there was a fair bit of neck still there, but obviously there is no lip on the neck any more so I don't think I'll track it again until I have a new rad. Speaking of which....more research required. It looks like Koyo makes a standard size radiator in ally which I'll grab in the meantime, but I really want something thicker so might have to go custom in the medium term (ouch) Coolant still needs a refill and I have the pressure tester on it over night, but other than a wash down of the engine bay it seems alright. And @MBS206 noted something noisy on the front of the engine and I think I agree....time for a new accessory belt and tensioners I think.
    • our good friends at nismo make a diff for it, I have one (and a spare housing to put the centre in) on the way. https://www.nismo.co.jp/products/web_catalogue/lsd/mechanical_lsd_v37.html AMS also make a helical one, but I prefer mechanical for track use in 2wd (I do run a quaife in the front, but not rear of the R32)
    • What are we supposed to be seeing in the photo of the steering angle sensor? The outer housing doesn't turn, right? All the action is on the inside. The real test here is whether or not your car has had the steering put back together by a butcher. When the steering is centred (and we're not caring about the wheel too much here, we're talking about the front wheels, parallel, facing front) then you should have an absolutely even number of turns from centre to left lock and centre to right lock. If there is any difference at all then perhaps the thing has been put back together wrongly, either the steering wheel put on one spline (or more!) off, and the alignment bodged to straighteb the wheel, or the opposite where something silly was done underneath and the wheel put back on crooked to compensate. Nut there isn't actually much evidence that you have such a problem anyway. It is something you can easily measure and test for to find out though. My money is still on the HICAS CU not driving the PS solenoid with the proper PWM signal required to lighten the load at lower speed. If it were me, I would be putting either a multimeter or oscilloscope onto the solenoid terminals and taking it for a drive, looking for the voltage to change. The PWM signal is 0v, 12V, 0V, 12v with ...obviously...modulated pulse width. You should see that as an average voltage somewhere between 0V and 12V, and it should vary with speed. An handheld oscilloscope would be the better tool for this, because they are definitely good enough but there's no telling if any cheap shit multimeter that people have lying around are good enough. You can also directly interfere with the solenoid. If you wire up a little voltage divider with variable resistor on it, and hook the PS solenoid direct to 12V through that, you can manually adjust the voltage to the solenoid and you should be able to make it go ligheter and heavier. If you cannot, then the problem is either the solenoid itself dead, or your description of the steering being "tight" (which I have just been assuming you mean "heavy") could be that you have a mechanical problem in the steering and there is heaps of resistance to movement.
    • Little update  I have shimmed the solenoid on the rack today following Keep it Reets video on YouTube. However my steering is still tight. I have this showing on Nisscan, my steering angle sensor was the closest to 0 degrees (I could get it to 0 degrees by small little tweaks, but the angle was way off centre? I can't figure this out for the life of me. I get no faults through Nisscan.
