my car is in a repair shop right now and the guy says that he is getting a contrainer load full of skyline front bumpers

as he is getting a lot of work from me for 250 he is letting me choose which ever one i want and he will spray and fit it

does anyone know some nice front bars for a S2 that i can google and check out

or has anyone got an aftermarket bumper themselfs that they can post a pic of cause i would hate to make the wrong decision when choosing :verymad:

edit: i am very much liking the S2 400r

Thats a nice bar! I like the fact that ur still keeping ur series 2 fog lights! Im into the same look!

I also love the explosive kit..

Everyone for themselves, but I think the series II foggies looks yuk!

I suggest a standard GT-R front bar with an matt black bottom lip... simple, but tough as!!

dont make it look like a spaceship... You don't want something that looks like a standard bar with some death star thing tacked on the bottom... Personally i think you should keep your car clean and simple. The best bars are gtr front bars which fitted well can look great on an s2 gtst. that or just the standard one you had - with the factory lip if you wanted it chunkier looking. Trust bars can look pretty tough but have such a big intake that being an na, without a cooler will look tacky as you will have huge areas of mesh which ends up looking like flywire.

love the foggies, that's why I'm looking to get a xplosive front bar for mine

it's just that the indicators look a lil awkward from time to time

but if you want a nice and clean look then look no further than the xplosive

on the other hand if you want more rice,

then I'd put my money on the Do-Luck Kits that Psi Parts are selling, they look wicked.

just keep the original bar with the Nismo lip, clean and looks awesome.

I agree i have it on my car love the look BUT im thinking of changing it not because it doesnt look alright but its comman as u know what... Its nice to have something alittle different...

this is a series 1 front bar

the one i posted at the start of the thread is a series 2 with the fog lamps and bigger indicators

+1. thats exactly what i did haha, coz i just love the look of the indicator and fog lamp.

anyway, i had a little accident last week...and if anyone wanna upgrade their front bar from a stock silver front bar, i'd be happy to buy it off u :nyaanyaa:

      Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻

      Nice car! I’m glad folks in the US have gotten past the FnF and are buying real cool cars like the 260RS I was with a bunch of mates in Portland about a year ago and spotted a green Stagea (just a regular 2.5T AWD) parked about 2 blocks away and they were like “a what?” So I made a bet with them for a round of beers and said “ok one of you run down there and tell me if the steering wheel is on the correct side” 5 mins later the American comes trudging back up the hill and goes “he’s right guys. Ok what beer do you want?”
