hi,

as the saturday is going to be roasting we need some assistance with esky capacity

i can only fit 3 eskies in my skyline. can someone (anyone) please bring 1 large esky, standard size

please post up here if you can bring one so we don't get 18 people bringing eskies

but if someone could bring 1 up or even 2 at the most, that would be much appreciated

your generosity wont go un-noticed

thanks

LOL Gareth - at least your organised!!!!

You can use a AASA license for the day (its cheaper), but you arent entered and im not quite sure what the go is entries at this stage.

If you are serious about entering, PM Snowman ASAP to tell him youd like to and see if he can maybe work something out for ya.

Hope to see you up there, even come up and spectate if you have nothing else on.

I was planning to cruise past there about 6.30. Do I really need to leave any earlier as I have to pick someone up?

It's been a while since I've headed up Sat.

hey all, i'll probably join you on this.

i was thinking of going down the back way up the melba and stuff, but it looks like it may take longer even though it's less km from my place by about 15km.

hmm... maybe i'll get the twisties on the way back...

    • I think he was only proposing to use the wire, not the sender. Simply because it runs from the right place to the right place. Personally, I wouldn't hack up the factory wiring like that. I'd just lay in the Defi loom.
    • From memory it wasn't too hard to simply see which wire ran where when you plug that in. Unfortunately also from memory the OEM sender does not use the same configuration 99.9% of gauges run. So in other words if you connect the signal wire that was running to the OEM gauge to your DEFI gauge you might find your oil reads at 200C or some other incorrect value. I remember having the same line of thought and then running new wires/senders to match the gauges I have. The pinout is available in the R34 workshop manual.
    • Does anyone on here know which wire on the GTT triple gauge pod harness is for the oil temp gauge? my sensor works fine but I upgraded the gauges to DEFI advance. And if I can simply piggyback off the oem oil temp wire to the Defi oil temp sensor wire that would make life so much easier.
