Gearbox/clutch Noise

Hey I have an R32 Gts-t, Exedy button clutch, standard rb20 box.

Recently my car has developed a whining sort of bearing noise when in any gear and the clutch isn't engaged.

I do have a slightly leaking master cyl but I still have plenty of clutch pressure and it drives fine.

I'm assuming its the spigot bearing?

My main question is, is it harmful to my clutch/flywheel etc to drive it like this? As I really cbf pulling my box out to change the bearing.

Thanks, bry

Sounds like the Throwout or Release bearing or whatever you like to call is..... If its loud, it may be worth changing, but if its lust a whine it should'nt really be a prob..... Mine is a little noisy......

Good Luck

I've always been under the impression that its the release/thrust bearing if its noisy when the clutch is pressed, and the pilot/spigot bearing when the clutch isn't pressed in
