Its been a few months since I have sold my GTR. Its been quite depressing to tell you the truth. Three months without any adrenalin rush has driven me crazy.

So I've booked in a Skydiving session on Saturday.

Not sure what to expect, I am confident as usual :nyaanyaa:

Anyone else done it before, any tips at all?

I'm going to look into getting a certification (obviously a few more sessions to follow) and then be able to jump alone.

It's the tandem jump by the way, 10,000 feet off Bell's beach.

For all you guys who love posting pics - make sure its not of a person who's parachute failed !!

My tip is to hold on tight and don't forget to enjoy the ride. You never know when it's your last

Just kidding. When I did it, it was heaps of fun! Just enjoy the experience and try to not to get caught up in all the extra stuff they try to sell you. The DVD at the end is pretty good but that's bout it.

Ash: I'm full of confidence mate, I don't see myself hesitating to jump at all. In fact to prove all my family and friends wrong it will be on taped on DVD. Lets hope I prove them wrong

Leewah: I'm hoping it will be full of fun. They did say it will be around 40seconds of free fall and around 6-7 mins of parachuting.

Do the Accelerated freefall course, 2 day course then you get to jump by yourself (ie no tandem) I didn't want no big fat hairy guy strapped to my ass.... ;)

Did that a few years ago, pretty good... doesn't feel like your falling, just feels like you stick your head out of a car window at 200k/h :)

You think they'll even let you go up in the plane Hus!!!!

Hehehe - JK - you are braver than me.

Sif jumping out of planes is 'fun'.

Hahaha - Can't believe it took that long for someone to make that comment, I was expecting it on the first post :)

Lets hope it's all nice and smooth ;)

Hold on to what? Ya bum?? lol

It's awsome man, everyone should do it at least once.....

and you don't even have to jump, the person your attached to does and you just get pushed.

You'll definately get that rush your craving,,and then some!!! ;):)

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
