Hey,

I need bigger injectors bad as under full load i'm hitting 97% on my injector duty. I don't really want to go to the trouble of putting on a fuel rail. I kow you can still get big injectors that screw in and I guess my question is what is the biggest size CC injectors I can fit into the RB25DET.

Cheers. She needs juice. lol

Nismo 550's will be more than enough for your turbo (they support 300rwkw no problem).

Largest - I used Nismo 740's for mine 369rwkw.

Stock Rail, Stock Reg etc etc.

I think Sard's in the 800 are also direct-ish fit

396RWKW!!! Thats massive man! What are you running?

Cheers for the advice. I cannot wait to get all the kit on. Iv'e gone a bit silly but whatever yeah! Not long till all the parts come in and i'll be aiming for around the 290 RWKW mark. To tell you the truth i don't really want more than that. I still want to be able to drive her on the road.

Cheers

Why do tuners tell me to get bigger then 550cc if they can handle 300rwkw

im looking at between 240 - 260 rwkw

Highflowing injectors are abit cheaper then getting aftermarket injectors but i hear they arnt as good, can anyone confirm this?

Because they are full of shit :D

No other reason, or they are trying to sell you something that you simply do not need.

Nismoid,

As I am at the stage of installing a whole heap of gear I need to make sure I make the right decision when it comes to Injectors. Can you point me in the right direction as to where would be a good place to get the standards flowed. Or even someone to talk to about this.

Thanks Mate!!

A good option for cheap injectors is 480cc ones out of manual S15's, they are a direct drop in for R33 RB25DET's.

I'm aiming for approx 260rwkw and 6 of these will easily suffice, and only costing me $280 delivered for all six.

There have been a number of threads with suppliers/prices and so on.

Just search with "hi-flow" "injectors" and you'll be right

Personally i wouldn't use hi-flowed injectors.

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
