Before you flame about starting another 4WD prob thread I have read everything posted about it but still need help.

I have a 32 GTR and recently swapped my Tomei Reytek ecu for a D-Jetro PFC. The workshop had probs with tuning and eliminated lots of things including putting a new loom in.

Now my car HASNT got ABS as it was removed by previous owner. So the ABS light is always on since i put a nismo cluster in( still have to pull bulb out of this one as i didnt think of doing it before i put it in!) Now after the loom swap the 4WD light is also on constantly and front torque is NIL.

I just checked the error codes on the attessa ecu which came up with 2 flashes followed by 8... from what i found that means the Front left wheel sensor and ABS actuator motor is at fault.

I need to know if anyone else has removed their ABS from their 32/33 GTR and had to do something to the loom or something else in the system to eliminate this problem. Im guessing you have to something to trick the ecu that the ABS is still there or something.

...any info would be great!

Despite keeping an eye out for this for years, I have never yet seen someone post a fix for this problem. no ABS = no ATTESSA.

Would be very interesting to compare your old (working) loom to a standard one.

Not correct...Ive removed the ABS and my ATTESSA is just fine. You must remove or unplug the ABS computer from under your rear parcel shelf for it to work properly.

Um my car has no abs module, has been removed, and the attessa definately works. Don't know what was done to it though, I do get the occasional 4wd error code, but only sometimes, and mostly in regards to the obviously missing abs module.

ill have to go and see if they still have my old loom at the workshop and see if something was done to the connections for the abs module.

I just dont get it as it was all working fine and never had problems until the loom was changed?? I dont think anything else was touched.

Where are these wheel sensors located? Maybe the one on the error code isnt plugged in.

Also which ecu under the parcel shelf is the abs? I can only see the Attessa and Hicas ones on mine.
