Recommended Posts

As the thread suggests (and I've done a search) - does anyone know of someone or someplace that does a good cut/polish/wax job at a good competitive price? Just got my car resprayed so looking to get it waxed up.

Cheers.

Best way if to do it by hand by ur self and u know how u want the car waxed and how good u want it so best way is to do it your self or if you near SE suburbs go to E hills shopeing center the carpark where u go to undercover spots is a place where they do the detailing the owner that owns that owns 22 pizza shops and i work at the pizza shop in the terrace there lol. that detailing place is pretty good i get it for free as i work for the owner muahahahhahaha

So you're saying you could do a better job yourself than taking it to a proper professional?

If you take your car to that place, mentioned above, they must do a shit job; as you're claiming you'll do a better job yourself :D.

The best is:

Final Inspection

95-101 Brunswick Road, Brunswick, VICTORIA 3056

(03) 9387 8008

[email protected]

But quality costs, so don't expect it to be cheap, but his work is well worth the price.

Another person to consider would be Matt (Mavric on these forums). He has been doing a great job on a few cars lately, he even details the exotic cars, Lambo's, Ferrari's, etc, at the P1 club.

Thanks Alan - long time no see... how's your car coming along/

Thanks buddy, I'll give them a call - was after something more closer to the Western Suburbs.

Thanks.

Just drop a PM to Mavric

Car still has no engine, will not be finished till next year.

Thanks mate, I've ropped him a PM - he's kindly responded - we'll tee something up soon.

Really, no engine... hopefully by March when I get my license back and when your car is on the road again, we should catch up in cruises... I've been a member for quite a while and never had the opportunity to go on a cruise... this will surely change soon.

    • Sorry to hear your HFM BM57 was faulty,  did you contact HFM I would hope they would be at least grateful for the information if there was some sort of manufacturing fault, you would hope they would be sympathetic even if your item was 2 years old if it had never been fitted. May I ask where it leaked from ?
    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
