theres a couple of photos, one you can clearly see through the rear window, another its blacked right out, i like the look of it all, what percent tints do you think this gtr has on all windows???

thanks

I got the same dark as hell one on mine.

I would suggest you rethink it carefully as at night, you can't see shitt... I backed my car into a parked car and am forking out a few hundred to fix up the dint now as we speak because I couldn't see out of my backwindow....

But if you're interested... it's a 48% shade - darker than legal - ask anyone and they'll be able to point you to the "wrong" I mean right direction.

what's 48%? 35% is legal. the darker they get, the lower the % of light that can pass through. ie. 5% is really dark.

also, dont be fooled by the pics. white and light coloured cars make the tint look darker.

The tint on that car looks like mine. Can't see shit at night. My car came with the tint from Japan so I don't know for sure what it is, but I'll guess and say that it's 5%. I'm thinking the on in the photo is the same.

I have 20% on the back, 28% on the little ones and 32% on the doors.

gives a smooth transition across the car and lets in enough light at night while still looking black in the day... I wouldn't go any darker myself

Yeah windscreen is illegal...

i'll post pics of mine if i get time later today...

well? did you get time yet? geeeeeeeeeez, talk about lazy. get off your (unknown size) ass, and get the pics up. I wanna see what the % transition looks like. It sounds like a good idea.

illegal's fine, everyone has illegal shit on their car, but a 50% tint on your front windscreen kinda makes it hard if not dangerous to drive.

I'm an autobot for life. lol

as much as transformers rock, autobots were poofs, they transformed into faggy cars and had gay names. case in point: bumblebee.

I realy don't get the number of cars rolling around with transformers badges though. weird.

very weird... strange & abnormal in fact...

"not for me, xenon HID saves the day"

HID wouldn't do sh*t for seeing through tinted windscreen... thats a really crap idea...

    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
