I took off my clutch slave cylinder today. when i put it back on i did up the nuts with my hand as far as they would go, then did the rest with the spanner , only prob was one of the nuts keept spinning ,so i took it out to find the thread from the gearbox was all on the screw :-< anyone had this done is it easy to re thread or am i going to need a new gearbox side cover?

Sounds like you need to put a Helicoil in. It replaces the bung thread with a nice new one.
