god I hate hamilton

always has to make out that the world is against him and that he triumphed against all odds

Take it easy Dezz... Hamilton admitted it wasnt the best decision to go back out on the Prime...

He drove a banzai lap and ended up only a tenth off the pole - and that on Hard tyres!

Hammo for the lead into turn one!

He didnt come across like that at all to me. Remember, Peter Windsor is always trying to blow him ( Hes the guy who gives all the interviews in press conferences.)

Thanks, I know who Peter Windsor is :domokun:

What I meant was Ron Dennis had said that Hamilton couldn't keep the option tire consistent for a single lap dash, so he went with the prime which was better suited to his car and the circumstances....So he chose the tire that was best for him for the job at hand.

Then he turns it around and says he made a wrong decision, implying that if he had have gone with the option instead, he would've been on pole....In my opinion he made the right choice for his car, in those circumstances, and he got the result out of that choice (3rd) Had he gone with the option which he couldn't keep consistent for a single lap dash, he may well have been worse off than 3rd.

So to say he made the wrong decision, yet still finished third, is just him talking it up in my opinion to make himself look better :stupid:

nick heidfeld seems to be markedly slower than kubica. webber still qualifying very well....now if he can get off the line and keep it clean he will be in with a chance of some good points.

still good to see that the gap between the have's and have not's is not warp factor 7. half a second is so much closer than in the last few years.

a wet race sometime soon will really put the cat amongst the pigeons. i am betting button is out doing rain dances at every round.

Webber wants new RBR contract so at least he seems happy there.

I love Williams, but what is it with them the past 5 or so years that they start well and finish the season well, with a sometimes good Monaco, for the rest of the 12 or so GP they go backwards :)

But, hopefully Loiuse bins with Kimi or Kubica meaning if Webber has another good race he will get a good points haul courtesy of a few falling over

Hamilton = knob...

Still, chances are Kimi is running a little heavier.... If he can punch in some uber quick in laps... Race is his for the taking...

I'm hoping he is fueled to run longer, but he may or may not have been held up on his final Q3 run by Alonso....I saw a quick replay of who I think was Kimi passing Alonso, and they mentioned he had a very slow first sector....It might not have been Kimi, but it could've been...

We'll find out tonight I guess, fingers crossed.

Yeah, i saw that too... Grid penalties for impeding other drivers anyone??

It wasnt Piquet. Thats for sure - he was out in quali 1 and it wasnt Massa because he'd already done his pole lap...

Alonso was right on the racing line with Kimi steaming up behind him, no doubt about it.

Hey Mark, if Hammo came up to you and said, give me a blowie and you can test the car at the next round, sif you wouldnt be rippin his fireproofs off right there and then, lol

m3gtr, so you know about Lewis and his mobile phone portfolio of BJs :)

Just call me Adam, Roy and yeah im sure he tells all the boys that! I bet he puts that free Vodafone plan he gets to good use doesnt he?

He should be very careful with where he puts his phone as there is some pretty incriminating vods on it. But then again if the girls where lining up why wouldnt you :)

lol, I wouldnt want to cut in line in front of you Roy,

age before beauty and all that Jazz, lol

There would be a greater chance of me unzipping my pants and pissing on him first..

    • What are we supposed to be seeing in the photo of the steering angle sensor? The outer housing doesn't turn, right? All the action is on the inside. The real test here is whether or not your car has had the steering put back together by a butcher. When the steering is centred (and we're not caring about the wheel too much here, we're talking about the front wheels, parallel, facing front) then you should have an absolutely even number of turns from centre to left lock and centre to right lock. If there is any difference at all then perhaps the thing has been put back together wrongly, either the steering wheel put on one spline (or more!) off, and the alignment bodged to straighteb the wheel, or the opposite where something silly was done underneath and the wheel put back on crooked to compensate. Nut there isn't actually much evidence that you have such a problem anyway. It is something you can easily measure and test for to find out though. My money is still on the HICAS CU not driving the PS solenoid with the proper PWM signal required to lighten the load at lower speed. If it were me, I would be putting either a multimeter or oscilloscope onto the solenoid terminals and taking it for a drive, looking for the voltage to change. The PWM signal is 0v, 12V, 0V, 12v with ...obviously...modulated pulse width. You should see that as an average voltage somewhere between 0V and 12V, and it should vary with speed. An handheld oscilloscope would be the better tool for this, because they are definitely good enough but there's no telling if any cheap shit multimeter that people have lying around are good enough. You can also directly interfere with the solenoid. If you wire up a little voltage divider with variable resistor on it, and hook the PS solenoid direct to 12V through that, you can manually adjust the voltage to the solenoid and you should be able to make it go ligheter and heavier. If you cannot, then the problem is either the solenoid itself dead, or your description of the steering being "tight" (which I have just been assuming you mean "heavy") could be that you have a mechanical problem in the steering and there is heaps of resistance to movement.
    • Little update  I have shimmed the solenoid on the rack today following Keep it Reets video on YouTube. However my steering is still tight. I have this showing on Nisscan, my steering angle sensor was the closest to 0 degrees (I could get it to 0 degrees by small little tweaks, but the angle was way off centre? I can't figure this out for the life of me. I get no faults through Nisscan.
    • The BES920 is like the Toyota Camrys of coffee machines. E61 group head is cool, however the time requirements for home use makes it less desirable. The Toyota Camry coffee machine runs twin boilers and also PID temp control, some say it produces coffees as good as an E61 group head machine.
    • And yes with a full tank it will hit limiter free revving or driving 6B6CDF6E-4094-426D-A9CB-6C553475FE36.mp4
    • One way of putting the fuel surge idea to rest, is that even when in neutral/clutch in or free revving it still has the same issue, it can’t even get to limiter (7800) so to me that says it can’t be g force, I’m not trying to argue I just want to find the f&$king issue 😡
