that depends on your rep range and your set range..

if you are aiming for 10-12 reps... and on your first set, you manage 6 reps... then you need to go lighter.. if you reach 12 reps easy... you need to up the weight.

if you hit 10 reps on your first set, 8 on your second set, and can only manage 6 on your last... then drop a bit of weight off and continue until you hit desired rep range or failure.

some people do full reps at lower weight, some people start each set at their desired weight and keep dropping off at each failure point and keep going until they finish the set.

whatever you feel like doing really.

drop sets are to get the absolute expenditure from your muscles... the lighter weight works the back up muscles when the big ones are toast.. dont use it as a warm down though.. you muscles need to be punished... just stretch them after each set and rest.

Good stuff, I'm starting on the right track then. Just need to smash it for the next 11 weeks...I've got a mental set goal before the big 30 in November hahaha (that being to get back where I was when I was 22)

Yeah that burn and pain in your workouts is the best thing you can hope for. I love it when you finish your workout and try to wash your face and your arms struggle to bend haha or when you cant even hold up the water bottle to drink lol.

Heh yeah I have to admit I do have a weakness for The land of goat sphincter rings food. Iskendar being my fave by far. But sadly I dont have it nowhere near as much as I crave it...You guys do make some good food and drinks....ahhh Ayran and Gazoz :D

finished my bulking on sunday and got measured and assessed and pics taken etc. Come up pretty good, kept the waist tight which is good. All up put on 5.5kg and didnt get fat in the usual places which is alright. Now into my 8 weeks of cardio and cutting with a new diet. :D

Post some pics up now from the bulking stage and then some pics 8 weeks later from the shredding :D interested to see the difference brother.

In other news, my hammies, calves and shoulders are killing me from the first two days back! Quads are getting done today, i wont be walking that comfortably this week lol.

    • Pretty sure it is a common fault. I believe this is the only part you need, but don't quote me as I don't have a V36.  I also believe it is a bit of a pain to change and the device needs to be encoded to the car once it is replaced, so may need someone with the right tools. Buy Genuine Nissan 48700JF00D (48700-JF00D) Lock Set-Steering. Prices, fast shipping, photos, weight - Amayama
    • Pads for R32 GTS-t, R32 GT-R non V-Spec (Sumitomo), R33 GTS-t and R34 GT-t are all interchangeable. R34 GT uses a 2x piston caliper, hence it didn't fit.
    • Checked with amayama and nope, the full S2 manual set is not available anymore. Unsurprising, but still disappointing as the ? on availability gave a glimmer of hope.
    • I've heard the Tomei USA head gaskets are decent if you want to o-ring the heads but otherwise not recommended.
    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
