Protein, creatine & BCAA's are what its all about :)

Using Max's supersize protein 5kg 3-flavour pack (cookies & cream is SO awesome!!), with milk

Some sort of ebay creatine powder

And my 2kg amino acid mix from Mr.Supps, consisting of:

- 100g D-aspartic acid

- 250g beta alanine

- 250g L-tyrosine

- 250g creatine

- 250g L-carnitine

- 250g L-glutamine

- 250g L-leucine

- 250g glycerol

Plus take multi vitamins, iron tabs, ZMA tabs, and a little bit of Toco-8 powder in my post-shake with a tablespoon of the AA mix

Found Double-T Sports Nitromine (360 tabs - pretty much amino acid tablets) for $9 a bottle from Supplements Direct (usually $90! wtf??) so I grabbed a few bottles of that with the Toco-8

snake oils. meh. Ive got no problem taking plenty of amino acids, more is > than none :)

Man that's a lot of stuff...

Also the glycerol isn't an amino acid just incase you thought it was...

yeah I know :)

bulk buy of the AA's is actually cheap in all honesty, 2+kg was $~90 and it'll last aaaagggggeeees. Mixed in one big tub.

protein and creatine is as it should be.

the tabs? well, ..... taking them "just because I can" :)

- the iron, zma and toco8 is because I reckon my testosterone levels are low due to a number of reasons.

- multi V's 'cause I think its better to take one then not ;)

- Nitromine, well Im a sucker ;) snake oils!!!

* the glycerol is meant to help get the protein/aminos into the muscles? ... "taking glycerol in supplemental form quickly improves hydration and the absorption of other supplements that are taken with it."

If you want a test-booster, grab some dianabol or Trenbolone or Oxandrolone...

Isn't just about any "test-booster" legally purchasable on the Australian market nothing more than snake oil anyway?

Geez dude just buy some steak, heaps easier

No; never!! - my 2kg AA mix will last a year, and cost something like $96 all up :)

I dont see the issue - protein, bcaa, creatine, vitamins......

It's entirely the cost when you compare it to something like chicken breast, at least considering you still need to consume food even if you're taking all those supps.

Creatine - Ive had since start of the year

Ammino mix - will last a year (10g per shake makes 200 shakes!), and for the bulk size thats pretty cheap in all honesty

Protein powder - IMO you're crazy NOT to take that shit post-workout, plus the cookies & cream is like a party in my mouth but you're all not on the vip list (sorry!)

Multi V's - Ive always taken them

the rest isnt needed :) granted; snake oils* thought Id try the toco-8 and zma tho as a once-off.

you all jelly at my knees of fury & not needing to squat - that must be it. =p

as for cost, ebay is your friend ;)

hey if you have the money and time to use it, go for it. It might be that 2% that makes a difference.

However unless i was a competing bodybuilder or elite athlete of some sort then i'll spend that 2% elsewhere, usually at jb hifi

    • So, now all you need to do is connect the 2 or 3x 12v feeds into the unit to permanent 12v, ACC 12V and IGN 12V that you can find in the spot behind the stereo, and the earth, and then it will switch on with the car.
    • Yes then it will turn on but I want the car features to work
    • My thought is if you were just moving it forward and the upstream geometry remained the same, then no difference at all. But because the current one has the filter direct into the AFM inlet, you effectively have the best chance of a completely symmetric air flow profile upstream, and in, the AFM, whilst the aftermarket inlet thingo has a (small, to be sure) bend between the filter and the AFM. That would bias the flow to the outside of the bend (downstream of the bend) which might well reduce the size of the signal seen by the AFM, for the same total flow rate. Having said that: If you're proposing to make your inlet look like a hybrid of your existing one and the aftermarket one, such that there is no bend where the filter is clamped on... then I say it will be just fine. If there is going to be such a bend, then, if you can align the insertion of the AFM blade such that it is at right angles to the plane of the bend, then there is a better than even chance that the centreline velocity where the blade is will remain more or less the same, and the velocity will just be a little faster to the outside of that, and just a little slower to the inside. **This is not professional investment advice and you should consult a suitably qualified ouija board, tea leaves or the intestines of a goat for more accurate prognostication.
    • Hi Tao, Thanks for your reply.  It's been a while and I managed to get the valve stem seals replaced with the head on the car.  Unfortunately this didn't solve my issue, the car still smokes a lot after idling (to be honest during idle you can see a bit of blue smoke from the exhaust), same after deceleration. I will try disconnecting the valve cover breathers, do I leave the PCV valve in? By engine oil drain pipe, do you mean the turbo oil drain?
    • What about if you just give it direct 12v and earth?
