Reading the latest version of evo I thought to myself Vector rings a bell.

Anyway here are the specs;

- 10 litre twin-supercharged v8

- 1850 hp = 1425 kw

- 1700 lb ft = 2305 nm

- Est top speed inxs of 440kmh

- Cost, a mere US$400,000

Looks ok, definitely tough.

imagine sitting at the lights next to....anything really.

i want one.

anyway i just thought I would show this as it is leaps and bounds above everything else i have seen.

looks like a NSX rear mixed with a 98 Camaro front wearing Supra headlights.

Been a while since they announced it though. like 2 years.

the styling 'revisions' just get more and more wacky

this was the high point i reckon (this was back when Atari pwned the console market :) )

yup, with you on that one brother. I can picture myself cruising along in that thing listening to some a-ha, take on me, or perhaps some nik kershaw as I'm on the way to my board meeting at compu global hyper mega net.

ahh, why can't I go back to the 80s?

while at a party, do you ever wonder why no one wants to talk to you?

i converse with many a party goer. cheers

LULZ!

you definately wouldn't find any tech company with 'net' in the name to be on the board of back in the 80's

The R35 and veyron were many a year in the making. I hope this one goes ahead. Assuming structural integrity and quality engineering and build, I would have thought $400,000 US to be a bargain.

Does anyone know whether the Joss (spelling?) is making it to production, haven't heard anything for a while.

Ah well, if 300ZX lights are good enough for Lamborghini to wear, then I'm sure Supra lights are good enough for Vector. Plus they'd already be DOT approved and tested etc so good to sell globally.

well we were very cutting edge back then. think cut com, or slash co. we also wore very, very thin ties.

    • We have a huge update coming in the next few months, version 5 of Invision will be released. I'm holding off any changes until after this change as I'm not sure what features will be removed or introduced.
    • Yeah, plenty of air flow, there is a dedicated path that feeds the air in to the OEM intake tube behind the bumper As for a "tangible effect", maybe, but getting the pod/intake air out of the hot engine bay is worth it psychologically to me, even if it gives no performance difference, so the tangible effect in my Lizard brain saysss yessss  In the end, to me a tangible effect isn't always about performance, sometimes it a sound or a look, or even a...... feeling  Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga
    • yeah first and reverse is where you will find clutch release issues (whether hydraulic or mechanical) because the difference in revs required is the highest there; particularly changing down from 2nd to 1st when still moving. To be clearer though, it is possible that the clutch release bearing is the wrong height. This is less likely than a hydraulic issue but it is not unheard of when you are mixing and matching
    • Quite right, if you make it to that pension you deserve every cent
    • Hi all, Restoring r33 series 1 rb25det. All the heater hoses were on their way out, have replaced them and put it all back together. After testing I noticed a small leak from behind the head on the actual metal water line to the turbo when cars warm. I tried running a longer hose over it but it kept leaking...   I am about to take the (stock) manifold off again😔 to change the water line does any one have any lines they recommend? I was looking at Aeroflow Turbo Oil & Water Line Set but not sure what everyone else recommends. Car is completely stock but want to upgrade turbo eventually. it looks like ill have to disconnect a lot just to replace these lines so if there's anything else recommended to do please let me know. Thank you in advance!
