can you even change the rear guards? arn't they joined to the c pillar and roof?

wouldn't you have to change the front bar if you change the front side guards?

yes you can change the rear guards, you just cut them off, and put new ones on, not as easy as it sounds, but to sum it up that all you do

Well mate, I can tell u a bit, cos I did a conversion last year. The guards cost me bout $700-$800 each from Nissan, directly ordered. Because they are the same as the aussie delivered model, R32, dont believe them if they try and charge you freight from Japan when u order them. It wasnt until I had started that I realised that you will also need new guard liners, which I think were $150 each. New GTR indicators to fit the guards are bout $350 a side, again very hard, basically impossible to find second hand.

Im a still trying to work on the side skirts, as due to the flared guard the originals would not fit. I did the front bar and bonnet and grill all original too, so fortunately it all fitted ok.

Another extra cost was the need for spacers for the original wheels as the guards add bout 22mm to each side, so I had to buy 2 sets of those till i found a decent fit.

So be prepared to spend $$$$$$$$$$$$$ on it. Someone reckons mine is only one he knows who have done the whole front end, and I now know why

Good lUCk

Will

A friend of mine who is a fibreglasser will be comin around to look at my front gaurds n bonnet as towords the end of the yr we might be going to make a mould off them and make carbon firbre ones. I will keep you posted if i did sell them they would still be pretty expensive due to the cost of material and how long they take to clean up, but ill let you know:)
