stealthassasin
Can anyone help? Engine light came on so i ran the self Diagnostic on it and the Code it gave me was 21 as far as i can find 21 = Ignition Signal - No consecutive Ignition Signal Using my own common sense the only thing that can translate to is something like a coil pack problem, although the engine seems yo be runnig very smooth. Can any one shed some light on exactly what Code 21 is? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/207366-r34-gt-diagnostic-code-help/ Share on other sites

DaveB
OK so all I am armed with here is a R34 service manual and common sense... but since no-one else has said anything... Have you checked your timing with a timing light? I think you will need one with a special "inductive" pickup, that clips onto "loop wire" for the coilpacks (has a yellow stripe I think?). As I read the manual if the timing is out too far, or if there is a variance of more than 25RPM between injector pulses, or a #($*& load of other things occur this light can be tripped. Then again, sometimes you just need to reset the error codes and they go away and stay away. This is probably the first place I'd start... all you need is a paperclip. Instructions here are around aplenty Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/207366-r34-gt-diagnostic-code-help/#findComment-3674221 Share on other sites
