Legal Exhaust Under 90db

Recommended Posts

why don't you just use an adjustable value in the exhuast,

apexi and hks make one and im sure other tuning company do too

If your unlucky to get done by an Inspection team on the side of the road, they'll do you rough & dry though.

I have a Fujitsubo Legalis R on my rb25

Either 88db or 89db can not remember

I found the quieter HKS and Trust exhausts are rated at 92db, basically the ones with a larger centre muffler and rear

Check out the manufactures web site, most list the db rating

I have a "no name" exhaust that flows really well that I'm about to advertise for sale.

Has dump pipe and all.

Came in at 88/89DBa (Did 4 readings)

Will bolt straight on.

PM me if interested (I probably won't see this thread again, so PM me about it)

The Hks one is not as quiet as the name suggests judging by previous posts ive read

Yeah still loud IMO. I have the HKS Silent Hi-Power. Apparantly it's 93dB, I've been breathalised many times, never had problems with the noise of zorst though.

It's just a smoother tone and the backfire is a nice muffled pop. :D

easy answer PUT THE FACTORY SYSTEM BACK ON

digging up an old thread for that?

The factory system is rather restrictive if you are making a bit of power especially when you can get decent 3-3.5" systems that are street legal.
