info taken off another forum:

"Friday the 29th Feb is the night

we will arrive at approx 9pm and will stick around till 11.30pm-midnite ( ahve to be at Symmons PLains at 6am next day)

At this stage we're going to hold it at the Officeworks carpark in the middle of Launceston as its the only place i know of that is big enough and well lit. last time we came down the cops left it alone due to the fact we ahd cameras and everyone behaved.

So unless someone comes up with a more well lit place thats big enough we wills tick with Officeworks car park at 9pm on friday the 29th Feb

Thanks

yeah I might have the R33 out tonight if the turbo turns up today and I get it put back together!

otherwise I will be there in my bro's 2jz Supra!

yeah if the blocky knobs keep clear that will be good....but can't see that happening!

might see you there then Savman!

Gayyyyyyyyyyy my 33's stock now for sale, stock cars suck (and no I dont consider your car "modded" if you have a huge kit). I can only imagine the abundance of ricers there :turned:

PS nizmokid I assume your car is the 33 at fueltech? If so, nice ride, the volks look awesome, make sure you let us know what you net with the gt30.

I just itching to drive it!........ it has been out of action for a month!

I might do a driveby in the old 4-door.. i dont think i will give the old girl a wash though. wouldnt want to set the standards to high. :P i bet team platinum will be there with the bodykitted machines. Anyway might see some of you about, if i dont see anyone i know i might just shoot through.

You should be able to push more boost through it with the cams as they will drop static comp. So what is the setup exactly, I just chatted 2 Pete about ti quickly, didnt actually get to see it.

    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
    • It's been quite the ordeal but hey, at least you figured it out.
    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
