in the first part of your sentence you say you put your foot down:

i turned right and put the foot down, however the road was slippery or some shit......

then in the same sentence carry on to say that you didnt have it down much:

.....slippery or some shit and the tyres spun, I didnt even have my foo down that much and then

conflict in your own statement. i think you knew exacly what you were doing. Your just pissed off that you got caught doing stupid shit right in front of the cops. stop showing off and you wont have any dramas, show off and suffer the cosequences, take it like a man and dont whinge about it.

and as for this, what a load of bullshit. it doesnt take long to learn how to take off in 1st without wheelspin. think about it.

he is new to this power and doesnt know how to control it to its full extent, and things like this happen.

and if the below statement is true, you really should have known better

zoix knows how to control his car as he is a professional driver by trade

but thats just my opionion

I never get pulled over. Maybe it's being female and driving a nice car...

I dont know but one day driving along the esplanade on a sunday afternoon, I went through the same RBT 4 times and not once did I get stopped. I ended up stopping and telling the copper that there were some idiots up the road with tallies yelling obsanities to people driving/walking past.

I knew the cops were there, I had been driving around all day, its just when i was leaving that I turned right and a car came flying up the road so I put the foot down a bit more(not to the floor) and the back right tyre spun a bit, I didnt really hear it, its just the cops that were sitting in that corner there somewhere, decieded that I spun my wheels on purpose. I was already up the road when they FLEW up to catch me,a nd thoght I was speeding( i was going 50 in a 60 zone) and the chick said I could lose my car for the night. Of course I said, for what?

she said taht I spun the wheels I said that it happened because the surface of the road has not been maintained and that its slippery and I could not avoid spinning the tyres as the person taht was coming that was on the road, increased speed as to hit me. and so I put the foot down to get infront of them(they went around me anyway) and the tyres spun.

anyway I didnt get anypoints taken, and I was just some random target they had grabbed as it was illegal but I didnt do it on purpose.

If they want to see what I can do when I mean it, then maybe I should book an appointment with Queensland Raceway and so the officers what I can do, and shut the pricks up...

But then again they are doing a hard job. If I was a cop I would most likely book everyone, especailly people that DONT use their FU(KING blinkers!

haha if i was a cop...

in nsw they have these "what police are targetting" signs, and they put up stuff like speeding, seatbelts and drink driving.

i'd have one on my police car, except it'd be like:

1. no blinkers

2. stopping illegally in the middle of the road to drop someone off *when* there is like a place to pull over (which still might be no standing, but still, you're not blocking 5 cars)

3. fools with subwoofers that pump it so loud the whole block can hear - offence intended if you are one of them, it's ridiculous that people in the car would notice the diff between "defeningly loud but only a few people around the car can hear" and "real f*cking loud so the whole block can hear it"

4. tailgaters

okay that's my rant.

burt, when are you going to give lessons on how to be a perfect human being. Geez i'd love to be like you some day. I know for a fact zoix has roughly 4-500 in assests cuz im a mate of his so you just got owned. As for the wheels spinning etc, you are lucky you didn't lose any points zoix as i got the same fine and lost 3 points coming out of harrys for that thing except mine was cuz i had a loud car and i was in a high rev range. I have a heavy duty OS Geiken clutch and i occasionally chirp the wheels on take off and i know zoix has a new deiken racing clutch. However, i think he should of been able to handle it on flat surfaces. Overall i think some people should stop being so critical as this happens to most of us when we are young and zoix man i told you the coppers would be out saturday night down the coast, thats why i didn't go down with you in the sil so you just gotta take it on the chin mate. So.... when can we start these lessons burt?

hmmm i smell hating, people make mistakes.... just a shame that on the occaisional (spelling) time u do u got caught. as "Mase" said, were only human, and judging someone on what they read on a computer screen is stupid to say the least.

zoix where u on milton road at about 7 this morning.

mate sorry to hear of your bad luck,i've been done for a chirp by a shiela cop too,she came up so fast i thought she wasnt going to slow, but she wanted to take my car, under anti hoonong laws, but i got out of it and kept my car,i got 240 fine and 2 points,im 14 points in 9 months and about the same amount in fines too,yet they are for shitty stuff, not speeding or nothing like that,it's the luck of the draw with cps,as you get good ones and arseholes ...

grrrr, i got the same fine now too. This knob in a vl was stirring me up at the lights and i had a full car load of people screaming at me to just hammer this guy. At least i did it in style, the back end stepped out slightly and i nailed him, just a pity the cops nailed me!!! Was very silly i know and i shouldn't of been so stupid to take the bait but oh well.

    • Have a vb in honour of the car comming back
    • It was a great, but typical track day, and some VB was ingested at the night time debrief 🤪
    • And so, to round this out, I couldn't be happier to confirm @MBS206 has decided to buy the car. He drove down from sunny QLD with a trailer last week and it is off to its new home today. I'll let Matt confirm on next steps but I understand broadly that the plan is to leave it pretty much as is, and just get some quality wheel time with a nicely balanced car that is pretty much track ready. There are a few a jobs still to be done first but nothing too major and I think its a very smart buy Dinner last night at the Paragon with a round of VBs (mostly) for Neil
    • Well, 50 pages and the end of a chapter for this car. We took it out for a shakedown at Wakie yesterday, and everything went well. There were a couple of niggles: - Oil cooler fitting leak - tightened, cleaned, stopped leaking - Radiator cap overflow fitting was leaking....Mark called it, the overflow fitting was threaded in and not tight....tightened, tested and held pressure - Small oil leak at the rear of the block, probably the turbo oil feed - too hot to get at it comfortably but probably just needs to be nipped up - leak at the driver's side rear brake line where it meets the hardline. Fitting wasn't loose, so Matt backed it off and back on, no further leaks - there's also a leak somewhere on the top of the fuel tank, maybe that cross over fuel line - that was has been left to fix when its on a hoist Otherwise than those niggles the car went great, turned great and stopped great so it was a very successful day out. I'm always really nervous when a car first hits the track after a long break, especially with a brand new engine as well but it was great. VID-20251011-WA0007.mp4  Big thanks to @The Bogan who dropped by and helped out, @MBS206 and my nephew Lachlan the apprentice.  Neil's wife Mel also surprised the hell out of all of us by dropping by; she's up in Tamworth these days but was travelling to Melbourne so had plausible deniability for turning up at the garage, it was great to see her but also obviously a bit sad all round.
