Need help r33 LSD

ok, ive got a r33 gtst, and it Deffinatly has a LSD as they all do.

now, the diff has worn out and its doing 1 wheel spinning bullshit.

sometimes 2 in a stright line.

ive gone to nerang diffs and they said dependingupon the type of diff it can be shimed, or else there is nothgin much they can do.

has anyone had their diff shimed, or know if it is possiable?

if it is, then i can take it to my local mechanic and get him to shim it back up again so it will lock.

my diff is not an ACTIVE LSD.

I had the one-wheel spinning thing happen to mine. I thought the diff was rooted, but i overfilled the diff oil (one side of the car was higher during the fill, as it was on a jack!)

Got the car level, and let all the extra oil out, voila! magically hooks up both wheels again

Might be something to look into ?

thanks for the info Strich9ine didint know that..at least i know what to look out for when i do the oil change in the diff

cant be shimmed

you need to buy a mechanical centre

ive have gone through 4 of these diffs just get the mechanical and you will be a happy person again
