Wierdest thing happens in my car

Sometimes after booting the car a bit i notice the back wiper/washer assembly appears to have leaked out water.

And dosent seem to happen (or leak as much) if i drive the car around easily.

WTF

Does anyone have any ideas?

Strangest issue...

The rear wiper does have that squirt water thingy which connects to the plastic water tank in front of your car so maybe the hose is damaged/wornout. Example, like raining and water entering through the sunroof aka seal is bad.

my 32 GTR does this too. only after hard driving, or driving at the track. the rear washer jet leaks out water all over the rear screen. I haven't driven the car for ages so I haven't looked into it but I have NFI why it started happening, it never used to do it. :domokun: farken annoying too.

yeah exactly same as my problem

whats the deal

and yes it is really farken annoying

If you mean it leaks on the outside of the windscreen its probably due to...

No pump(or centrifugal type booster pump) mounted up the back, relying on pressure from front pump, therefore under 'fun-time' water surges back along the lines(always primed) unrestricted = inertia pumping the water.

Did I make sense?

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
