Will this i/c kit fit a r32 gts4 just as easy? Please let me know because I am interested. Also, please let me know if it would be cheaper shipping to a Japanese address or an APO AP in Japan (base address).

Thanks,

Michael

Overdriver and NOZILR

the cooler will be avaliable in about 3 weeks time.

pm me your detail. I will contact you when the cooler is ready.

Goolf

780 for the cooler it self.

Nu2skylines

yes it will fit r32 not a prob

cant you come to australia to pick it up? =)

I prefer not to send them oversea. the postage will be alot more and insurance and heaps other things.

Can you get these intercoolers?

on the 21st you said it would be 2 weeks

on the 27th you said 3 weeks ??? (what the?)

Just bite the bullet and ask for poeple to confirm an order. This forum started over a month ago, if they havn't commited by now they are never going to.

Actually, we were planning a trip to Australia/New Zealand in October but I think I would have problems taking it back through customs but it would be cheaper than shipping it.

Is it really that much more to ship to a U.S. address or Japanese address? Man, Japan is not to far from Australia either but I understand all the taxes, insurance, and customs.

I've been looking around Japan but everything is so expensive. I think I'm just looking in the wrong places. I need to get to know some people. :uh-huh:

I didnt mean to delay the groupbuy. its out of my control. I am simply passing on the messages from the supplier.

the pipe has been redesigned and ordered from oversea. the container has arrived australia but need to be cleared at the custom. it would take awhile. if you are in such a rush to get it I can get you the intercooler with steel pipe which is about 3 times heavier than the aluminium. please be patient if you want something better quality.

Nu2skylines

I always thought car parts are cheaper in japan.......

Does anyone know if fitting a brandname intercooler of similar size (eg GReddy R-SPL Type24 2 etc) requires the same level of cutting/pasting of bits on the front?

bless_you

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
