lol cheers :D wasn't blinded, u were sorta facing at right-angles to me, and stag S2 high beams look cool from outside ;)

Would anyone in the NE burbs (if there is anyone) be willing to take a passenger? say if ur near awoonga road or go past it?

i dont own a stagea, but am trying to sell my skyline at the moment to get one and would love to have a feel of them driving... not me driving... but being a passenger.

;)

Aaron

I'll come to the meet at IKEA, but can't do the cruise 'cause I gotta go to the Pier after that to meet friends.

Drinking must be done!

BS'tn me right?

Ive had my stagea for 2.5yrs now, around the 5th or 6th one in adelaide.

there has never been a stagea cruise

you cant pike out !!!!

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo :D

Well I gotta be at the Pier by 9.30-10.00. There is beer and women!

People normally stand around for an hour before cruising, so that'd give me less than 30 mins before I'd have to drive to Glenelg.

If we can keep it timely, say start the cruise at 8.30. I can come along for sure.

I'll be out cruising tomorrow night on the TLR :D

Hmmm ...

Why do I have a "Warn: (0%) -----" thing at the bottom of my avatar, but I can't see anyone else with one?

Or does everyone have one, but you can only see your own?

yes deff bring cameras ppl! knowing me ill forget but if every1 trys atlease some one will!!! getting scared  dont want it to be a shit cruise :) and yes we will b sticking to the times! leaving ikea at 830. im thinking that well do a city run then back down to the bay along south road/anzac way, down south road, turn off to victa, then back down the hills, either down greenhill or morialta, threw norwood finish up sumwhere like ikea, waterfall gully car park, sumthing liek that... or just follow the leader haha. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT

Hey Adam, given that its a long weekend, the cops will be out patrolling mroe than usual. Driving on common roads of course is hard to avoid, but we should try not to drive a long length of it.

I'll PM you a route I think will be enjoyable. See what you think, and the final decided route/map can be handed out at IKEA, instead of posting it up here for anyone (cops) to read - given that people have a paranioa that cops have nothing better to do.

yeah thats why Im not a huge fan of cruises in metro streets

know the sthn hills like the back of my hand so can give suggestions on the night as to where to go (ie "follow ME!!")

see you'se tomorrow night at 8

lol :)

    • I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
    • If as it's stalling, the fuel pressure rises, it's saying there's less vacuum in the intake manifold. This is pretty typical of an engine that is slowing down.   While typically is agree it sounds fuel related, it really sounds fuel/air mixture related. Since the whole system has been refurbished, including injectors, pump, etc, it's likely we've altered how well the system is delivering fuel. If someone before you has messed with the IACV because it needed fiddling with as the fuel system was dieing out, we need to readjust it back. Getting things back to factory spec everywhere, is what's going to help the entire system. So if it idles at 400rpm with no IACV, that needs raising. Getting factory air flow back to normal will help us get everything back in spec, and likely help chase down any other issues. Back on IACV, if the base idle (no IACV plugged in) is too far out, it's a lot harder for the ECU to control idle. The IACV duty cycle causes non linear variations in reality. When I've tuned the idle valves in the past, you need to keep it in a relatively narrow window on aftermarket ecus to stop them doing wild dances. It also means if your base idle is too low, the valve needs to open too much, and then the smallest % change ends up being a huge variation.
    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
