carl h
has anyone figured out the rom tuning info for the er34 ecu such as addresses for maps, constants and such? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/212758-er34-gt-t-rom-tuning/ Share on other sites
Simon-S14
im curious to know this also. can they be remapped easily or are they an expensive task like the R33's Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/212758-er34-gt-t-rom-tuning/#findComment-3758338 Share on other sites
666DAN
The bikirom daughterboard opens up most of the factory ROM for tuning, pretty easy to work with www.bikirom.com Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/212758-er34-gt-t-rom-tuning/#findComment-3758693 Share on other sites
Simon-S14
most of? what doesnt it let you do? at 450 it seems reasonable.. cheaper then a PFC! Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/212758-er34-gt-t-rom-tuning/#findComment-3758817 Share on other sites

carl h
cant call up dr.drift as i am in the states...all else fails i'll just build a jumper loom and run the engine off of a rb20 ecu. also im not terribly keen on the bikirom, I've tuned a few cars using it and its a pain due to the software layout and the fact that you have to cycle power to the ecu to get it to restart...not fun when trying to hack out the street drivability. that and lucas hasnt documented the er34 maps well enough for it to be 100% usable. Works fine for me...maybe living close to Lucas helps with the extra R34 features That's my only gripe is the gen board I've got isn't real-time....the new boards are though so no need to power-down. Anyway shouldn't be an issue if you're on a dyno and not being dangerous tuning on public roads *recalls a time when the ECU got reflashed while driving along* Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/212758-er34-gt-t-rom-tuning/#findComment-3760757 Share on other sites
