Scum Of The Earth Caught On Camera Stealing Turbo From Jap Parts Plus Please Help.

Recommended Posts

A couple of two bit losers decided they needed a turbo that was on a bench at Jap Parts in Maddington more then the 18 year old apprentice who owned it but the F......ING Rocket Scientists did not realise how many cameras their are in the compound, so below are a few snap shots of them which I quickly grabbed off the security system. The tall piece of shit was driving a beat up S13 Silvia (which they parked in the drive way on first visit) with the usual 2 tone silver or green with brown trim, looks like it had a black strip down the front guard and rear qtr on the camera, riding on what looks like stock rims.

The dip shits came in for a right hand head light so please keep that in mind if surfing the wanted ads in other forums but they returned a few minutes later of course tracked on camera, one distracted the person looking after the counter while the other crabbed the turbo and manifold (SR20) and jumped the fence of course caught on camera. If any one is offered a cheap turbo/manifold set up for a SR20 or have any relevant info that might help track the bits down please get hold of me some how via PM or someone else if you want to stay out of it.

Now to the shit heads who stole it as they will read forums and if not this one others, we know what you look like as you were their forever, we know what you drive so I will be at every F....ING cruise, every F....ING drift event, every F....ING car show, every F.....ING workshop handing out photos and info or any were I think you might be, but you get the idea which is I WILL FUC..KING FIND YOU Perth is not that big.

You did not steal a Mars Bar from K-Mart but a piece of a hard working young kids pride and joy..............

Shits! when you find them, and i'm sure you will - break one of their legs for me!!

hey mate i have a friend in the silviawa club i will get him to ask around for you and see if he knows anything, D#%kheads like that always want to brag about what they have done so you should be able to catch them

Perth is a small place, the import car scene is a relatively small scene.....these guys, and your parts will show up at some point...its only a matter of time.

Good thing you have cameras, though its a shame these days that all business's in our industry need them!

Scum.....

Payback is a bitch boys.......

Karma's coming, and I hope I am on the Karma train when it hits your station!

^^ See, that alone would have me crapping myself

*joins Uncle Mike on teh Karma train*

Got to love the boys (and girls) on SAU as I told the person who lost the bits watch this as people on the forums will not stand for it and will go out of their way to help you even when they dont know you.

So thanks again for the support.

was reading this when i was at my mates house this morning so decided to drive around n look for a 2 tone s13, no luck.

then when we hit tonkin hwy we saw a S13 2 tone and my friend floored it to catch up to it, ended up being a girl driving that s13 and it had some massive ugly chrome rims on it..

lol my mates commodore drained lik half a tank driving around but oh well..she loves driving

anyways..good luck in trying to find those suckers n me and mates got our eyes out for that S13.....post on silviawa and that

*jumps on train too*

f**ktards.....

if only you got the plates...

seriously though, i want to jump on the train but i think there's too many two tone silvia's...

will be on the lookout though, you can't can't imagine how much driving i do a day, have had the car for less than four months and i've already done 8,000km's lol

and yes, karma is a bitch boys!

    • perhaps i should have mentioned, I plugged the unit in before i handed over to the electronics repair shop to see what damaged had been caused and the unit worked (ac controls, rear demister etc) bar the lights behind the lcd. i would assume that the diode was only to control lighting and didnt harm anything else i got the unit back from the electronics repair shop and all is well (to a point). The lights are back on and ac controls are working. im still paranoid as i beleive the repairer just put in any zener diode he could find and admitted asking chatgpt if its compatible   i do however have another issue... sometimes when i turn the ignition on, the climate control unit now goes through a diagnostics procedure which normally occurs when you disconnect and reconnect but this may be due to the below   to top everything off, and feel free to shoot me as im just about to do it myself anyway, while i was checking the newly repaired board by plugging in the climate control unit bare without the housing, i believe i may have shorted it on the headunit surround. Climate control unit still works but now the keyless entry doesnt work along with the dome light not turning on when you open the door. to add to this tricky situation, when you start the car and remove the key ( i have a turbo timer so car remains on) the keyless entry works. the dome light also works when you switch to the on position. fuses were checked and all ok ive deduced that the short somehow has messed with the smart entry control module as that is what controls the keyless entry and dome light on door opening   you guys wouldnt happen to have any experience with that topic lmao... im only laughing as its all i can do right now my self diagnosed adhd always gets me in a situation as i have no patience and want to get everything done in shortest amount of time as possible often ignoring crucial steps such as disconnecting battery when stuffing around with electronics or even placing a simple rag over the metallic headunit surround when placing a live pcb board on top of it   FML
    • Bit of a pity we don't have good images of the back/front of the PCB ~ that said, I found a YT vid of a teardown to replace dicky clock switches, and got enough of a glimpse to realize this PCB is the front-end to a connected to what I'll call PCBA, and as such this is all digital on this PCB..ergo, battery voltage probably doesn't make an appearance here ; that is, I'd expect them to do something on PCBA wrt power conditioning for the adjustment/display/switch PCB.... ....given what's transpired..ie; some permutation of 12vdc on a 5vdc with or without correct polarity...would explain why the zener said "no" and exploded. The transistor Q5 (M33) is likely to be a digital switching transistor...that is, package has builtin bias resistors to ensure it saturates as soon as base threshold voltage is reached (minimal rise/fall time)....and wrt the question 'what else could've fried?' ....well, I know there's an MCU on this board (display, I/O at a guess), and you hope they isolated it from this scenario...I got my crayons out, it looks a bit like this...   ...not a lot to see, or rather, everything you'd like to see disappears down a via to the other side...base drive for the transistor comes from somewhere else, what this transistor is switching is somewhere else...but the zener circuit is exclusive to all this ~ it's providing a set voltage (current limited by the 1K3 resistor R19)...and disappears somewhere else down the via I marked V out ; if the errant voltage 'jumped' the diode in the millisecond before it exploded, whatever that V out via feeds may have seen a spike... ....I'll just imagine that Q5 was switched off at the time, thus no damage should've been done....but whatever that zener feeds has to be checked... • I think Fitmit had some, have a look on there (theyre Australian as well)
    • Hah, fair enough! But if you learn with this one you can drive any other OEM manual. No modern luxury features like auto rev-matching or hillstart assist to give you a false sense of confidence. And a heavy car with not that much torque so it stalls easily.
