BumP!

Jog your memories, have you seen my car or parts of it? (parked down the street, in someone's workshop, garage, anywhere?)

I miss my car.

It's been out there for a few months now so someone must know or has seen something.

I'm prepared to put up a reward of $5000 for anyone who knows details that lead me to getting my car back (intact/mostly/driveable) or leads to some arsehole getting put away.

fark bro still nothing guess its gone interstate sorry hope you get it back tho or at least find em gud luck

Id say its gone to another state mate, sorry to say its ussually the way as its not saleable in sydney any more.

The white GTR in Artarmon is actually a friend, his plates read OSAKA so if thats the white gtr your refering too wrong one.

plenty of empathy from me, my GTR was stolen last Oct. the lowlife that stole the car is doing a 3yr sentence now, but I didn't get te car back. hope you have better luck. the thieving scum seem to have no idea of the impact on the victim; I'm still searching for mine [or parts of it] I search every 'parts for sale' ad, and follow every car that remotely resembles mine. one day!!!

regards

sorry to hear that about your car bud , hope you find the car and whoever did this !.. on another note i know this might sound silly but if you post up this on Boost cruising, they would dob anyone in for the reward money.. hope it works out for you in the end !

im really sorry to hear bout this,

when you think about it, it could be any one with some kind of work shop. just drives it their and starts striping it. or if hes gone interstate he probably works with a few people, managed to get in into a truck and taken, i personally think its still in vic and hes waiting for sh*t to quit down. BASTARD

good luck on finding the car

ill have my eyes and ears open

Far************K dude, Really sorry to hear about this. I hope the reward helps get your car back. I dont know what i would do if my gtr was stolen so much work and money invested. I will keep my eye out for it, i'm in Mitchell ACT, so there are lots or work shops around.

So sorry to hear it man.

EDIT: just had a look at the pics, Farken clean looking car. I really feel for you.

I'm so sorry to here this mate. Sorry for the belated message!

I guess it just shows the importance of an immobiliser and proper alarm system.

http://www.securityinmotion.com.au/page/car_alarms.html - for future reference mate and anyone else considering installing an alarm/immobiliser system I highly, highly recommend it. I'm hoping to get my Skyline in January and as an extremely paranoid person I'm hoping to spend a couple grand on just security. There is a terrific alarm/pager system in that link - Autocate800 GSM Pager/Alarm/Immobiliser, so that when the car is 'intruded' or whatnot, a message is sent to your mobile number immediately so you take the appropriate action. Here is another link http://www.carsafe.com.au/t_09.html . Hope these are of some use!

No, I'm not a sales person. Just looking out for fellow forum members. I can't begin to imagine way your feeling at the moment Sav. Hang in there mate. All the best.

Hope you find it really soon. Keep looking dont give up.

Im looking at some sort of tracking device for the skyline, i believe thats the best solution.

I had a pager alarm system and immoboliser on my integra type r and it still got stolen.

It was gone pretty fast ;). Just happy i had insurance to recover most of the costs.

What!

Are you serious?

Care to post up who produced and installed the pager alarm and immobiliser? What system to do you use now following the theft?

I had a Python 881xp alarm system, and it was installed by my best mate who is a auto electrician.

After i got money from the insurance i just bought a brand new corolla, tried getting over the whole car scene.

Just a reliable daily, good on petrol and very cheap in insurance still got it, over 1 year old now.

Few months ago i decided i buy a weekend car and got the 32 GTR. Just a cheap mongoose alarm

system in it atm. It hardly gets driven maybe once a fornight, parked in a very safe garage.

Considering a tracking alarm system where you pay a monthly fee and theyll tell you the location

of your car, and if or when it gets stolen.

That's sad to hear mate. (about getting over the scene)

f**king crooks don't realise what an impact it can have on the person. Or maybe they do and they are all assholes.

A tracking system would be mint. Depends about the monthly fee though? Any idea?

There is a group buy for a gsm tracker in the group buy section... $295 bargain

btw, sorry to hear about your loss op..

I can't believe you removed your security system as it conflicted with your Turbo timer.. the mind boggles.

yea cant believe you did that.. Who needs a turbo timer anyways.

But none-the-less i really hope you find your car man!!

Will deff keep an eye out.

You know theres cars stolen from that carpark nearly everyday. Deff not a place to park your car..

Same with mac uni carpark..

still no news? the car has to be long gone....... its parts would probably be living hapily in other cars now or it is a numbers job and the car is either back on the street with a shared identity with new paint to suit or its a dedicated race car that has been stripped anyway beyond recognition.....

this has to be the worst thing appart from loosing a family member or a close pet because after all i guess i do treat my car as a family member (wow im so sad lol)

thats why the first thing i did was insure it (p plater mind you so its a big decision to insure a gts-t) and put an immobiliser/alarm system with a built in turbo timer (and i just sold the old TT aswell)

I do recomend a good immobiliser at minimum for any import car

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
