What sex shop do you own???

Lol don’t own any sex shops, although it could be a good idea...hahaha

thanx for all the comments guys, I’ll take it as no one really likes the colour, lol

it looks a lot better in person then in the pictures, though. I’m looking forward to registering it and going for a nice long drive around Canberra, without the worries of getting pulled over with no plates, lol.

Regards Vlad

I was in Trojan today getting my '34 looked at, and low-behold I saw your car parked there. In person mate, I have to hand it to you that it looks nice. I personally wouldn't have thought a pink car would look that great, but it certainly has a presence to it. Congratulations - the interior does look very clean. though the black 16 inch wheels you have need to get changed ASAP.

Well done, and welcome to the family!

You b4st4rd5 are the ones turning my "3 day's work" upgrade into a 1 month+ wait!! yyaRHGHRGHHSHAHGRGH *puts head through monitor* lol.... *sob*

I now remember thinking "Heh... BRIGHT!" when I saw the pink next to the other 4-5 cars waiting for work.

Yeah i think i was there when you came in, Silver R34 Black bonnet, big wheels right...i was sitting there installing some lights into the cluster and a/c unit trying to get everything to work, lol. yeah the 16's do have to go but im having trouble finding something i like i want deep dish, 20", polished lip, something simple light weight, but still looks appealing. But first i got to get the fuel pump, belts, plugs, water pump, and gear box oil done.

by the way thats how i got the interior i still got to clean it.

thanx for the kind words though

I like the colour, it says LOOK AT MOI. I was trying to think of a way to describe it, but think myr332 got it right when he said "it certainly has a presence to it". I think the colour has a bit of wow factor and gets away from the greys/blues/maroons.

Can't wait to see it for real, you had better bring it to Texikhana :D

oh and welcome to the family :D

nah that wasn't me - i came in at about lunch time. i have a bayside blue R34 gtr vspec II.. looking at getting some light mods done to it, but i saw your car and remembered the photo's on the forums so had to check it out a bit closer - the photo's certainly gave the impression of a fairly well established interior, and it certainly was clean inside...

It's also interesting that you paid $19500 for it, a lot of cars barely get to $15K. Not questioning your purchase, I think that it actually reflects the true value. Just wondering if the market is rebounding now? I know I wouldn't value mine for less than $20K, but a lot of ppl would say I'm dreaming. I look at the market and how much it would cost me to replace and that stops me from even thinking about selling.

So your price is interesting, maybe the start of a better scene?

    • oh they were with that motor, you need to remove the engine to change the spark plugs (don't have to, but it does make it easier)
    • I certainly fall into the annoyed camp, but glad to hear that if it's happening at low boost then I'm not likely going to blow a turbo and end up with metal shards in my oil. Just feels like it prevents me from really driving it without hesitation and "peak" performance. Wonder if it's the VCAM, it did an impressive job of shifting the torque curve and faster spool, but maybe now it's "too fast" and there's too much air for how open the throttle is.  Based on some other threads, will also do some reading on synchronizing the actuators. They are the default actuators that come on the Garrett's and I would think they would be set the same coming from the factory, but if the turbos don't actually work exactly the same way at the same time as previously mentioned, it would be worth making sure the actuators are actuating together properly
    • I went down this rabbit hole before, ended up sourcing a motor from the UK (I'm in Japan) which also didn't function correctly. With the original motor, I disassembled it and reassembled it and it works somewhat, sometimes. What I could deduce from all my screwing around is that there is calibration of the gears on the inside of the motor and two ramps on the main gear which activate switches that operate the motor and move the sunroof either to retract into the roof or tilt. Where I got stuck was that, it seemed in my case that one or both of the switches that are activated by the ramp on the gear did not always activate and thus the motor did not move, causing it to sometimes not retract or tilt (apologies, I've forgotten which way it didn't work.).  Of course this part is discontinued at Nissan now, it's the same part in the S15 but no other models. I also contacted the manufacturer of the component for schematics - forgot the name, they're based in Gifu - but they declined to share the information due to being bound by an NDA, sadly. Looking through my pictures now, it seems I last had a crack at this in 2022. See, I so kindly wrote "open" and "close" next to the switches. If you figure it out, please do tell me. Those little switches, with the red buttons may need to be replaced.
    • It says 300ZX, does that make it an Aus delivered car? Funny how back in the day I just couldn't care less about Z32's and these days I am just in love with them. Back when Nissan was into pushing the envelope. 🤣
