just want peoples experiance with them or anything u know on driftline, as this is another option that my car will be taken to get work on.. i think as a car enthusiast group we should all stick together on topics like this, keep the shit work shops out of business and the good ones running..

many people would be left with quality work from trusted workshops, insteed of making the same mistake over an over again, cause we cant post bad work done by a certain workshop.. pm me if needed, if driftline is shit tell me, i cant and alot of others cant afford to loose money threw a shit workshop with shit workmanship..

if people already no bad stuff from driftline then im not starting anything here, but if all comments are good with positive every were, then i have nothing bad to say except that my car will be going there..

if you no something bad or good just tell me, i am new to this sort of stuff..

big thanks chris..

I know nothing about them, but Shan aka funkymonkey was associated with them and just had his 32 sprayed matte or satin black by them...He was telling myself and another sau vic member to get our cars sprayed there, so I doubt they're dodgy.

lol yeah, i do some work for them when i get the time, but now I'm in brissy. My car's there atm in pieces gettin resprayed satin black.

we also did Adam's red widebody R32 and justine's blue s15 to name the more famous SAU members... plus we get a lot of regulars in an out from SAU... mostly to clear EPA's, dings, services, clutches, intercooler installs etc.

We try not to do half arsed jobs, unless the customer really demands it (ie doesn't wanna spend money and cut corners). We don't do "habib racing" jobs... and if you come in asking for one we'll tell you to GTFO. Mainly of late we've had people who got dodgy jobs done (like a dude who had his widebody kit superglued onto his car by some workshop... we had to grind it back to metal and redo it from scratch) who come in to get it fixed properly.

easiest thing to do is call Roshan on 0425855540 and talk to him... you can even say Shan sent ya off SAU and he might give you a warm hug when you walk in.

i brought my car from there almost 2 years ago, and have always gone back since.

since then rush has become a good friend of mine and will always help me out when it's needed.

he can be pricey, but once you go back to him a few times you build up a "trust fund".

if you want things done properly, he will do it properly. he's good for that.

he's been real busy at the moment and he's quite hard to catch, but he has his mechanic monty running the show when he's occupied.

They are a very capable and underated workshop that can do almost anything to all types of cars (not just inports)

considering when i visited last week they had a holden up on the hoist, and rush and his family all drive holdens for dailys.. haha.

so much shit he cops!

    • Pads for R32 GTS-t, R32 GT-R non V-Spec (Sumitomo), R33 GTS-t and R34 GT-t are all interchangeable. R34 GT uses a 2x piston caliper, hence it didn't fit.
    • Checked with amayama and nope, the full S2 manual set is not available anymore. Unsurprising, but still disappointing as the ? on availability gave a glimmer of hope.
    • I've heard the Tomei USA head gaskets are decent if you want to o-ring the heads but otherwise not recommended.
    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
    • Hi. Can someone tell me what brakes(and mainly WHERE) can i buy brakes on R34 GTT? I bought some EBC which SHOULD go on my car(i have GT but it has GTT brakes) but it does not fit, Brakes are "too" small(296mm) Are 310mm be good or? I have 17 inch wheel so no "big boys" but for me driving i just need one that fits and i can get here in EU/Czech.
