haa.. and boy do they get pissed off when you " read the traffic " better than they do

a few smart lane changes and they are stuck waay back tailgating someone else fuming in anger haha

lol always happens.

I'll be cruising along, some fully sik individual tailgates me, eventually moves on and I end up in front of them further down the road. Classic

I was thinking about investing in a scrolling l.e.d panel that I could fit on the rear windscreen.

...........HA.................HA....................... should do it

OR

....GET.....OFF.....MY.....ASS........

Yeah I've pulled a solid brake when this d!ckhead in a little Hyundai was giving me some what for as I was getting off the highway.. yeah as someone said earlier don't brake to much as there is a good chance their brakes won't be as good hahah this guy locked up nicely and broke traction - even gave me a bit of a fright!

Although there was definitely 2 seconds worth of space between us then!

Pricks.

does anyone have problems with 4wd driving mothers with unessesary bullbars and fog lamps and a stupid baby on board notice plastered on there rear window *people changing lanes before finding out you're there? I've grown paranoid of people inviting themselves into my passenger seat..

Yeah when these gimps want to race by getting into my rear personal space I just cruise on the speed limit and smile. Its more satisfying thinking well they will never know if they are quicker as opposed to them finding out and me blowing my license

AMEN!!!!

I only get the occasional tailgater. I just make sure I am in the leftest lane and then slow down. It was really bad in the R34 GTR as we would get people tailing us for up to 20 minutes, those wanting to race and even people trying to take photos while driving.

Just a thought. Maybe a lot of the hate at tailgater's is misdirected. Could some of you guys be driving in the right hand lane below the speed limit or driving at the same speed of cars in the lefter lanes?

I do a fair bit of freeway driving in inner Melbourne and people blocking the right hand lane are at times more dangerous than irritating as cars looking to overtake have to snake through traffic to get around the pace car in the right hand lane. This seems to be an attitude of problem with Australian drivers as so many refuse to keep left and overtake on the right. I was in London a year ago and their freeways move so much better simply because people keep left and by law must overtake on right resulting in the slow cars in the left and those who want to lose their license in the right lanes.

In the 34 people keep away from the car? I dont understand why people tailgate you, I often get civics tail gating to proove they can out corner me, but they obviously learn they cant after a few corners.

I often find commonwhores tailing me, thinking sometimes they are cops trying to anoy me.. I just change lanes unexpectedly before a red light and they dont have time to do the same.

You can also launch it, change lanes and jump on the brakes.. zoom behind them turn the highbeams on angle them up and swerve all over there back end.. very unsettling..

So's tailgating. They can consider it an expensive lesson, that costs you a buck to teach.

I can't say I've ever done this (I can never be bothered to carry that many 5c pieces, I would have splurged on Maccas soft serves well before then)........

A tip from an ex moped rider. (brake testing is not an option)

sparkplugs from lawnmowers, whipper snippers and dirt bikes.

Big enough to smash crap out of the front end of a car,

Small enought to not go through a windscreen and hurt anyone.

:P

I knew a guy how kept a flood light facing back but he only used it when someone driving behind him was using their high beams.

used to have two spotlights as reversing lights (switched so they wheren't on when reversing in town) on our old 60 series cruiser. funny thing was they where also switched to turn on whenever i wanted them on. shit it was funny sometimes.

I once aggravated some family-filled 4WD. I don't recall why exactly, but to be honest I won't discount the possibility that I cut them off or something.

Anyway, the kid in the back seat decided to shine a massive, f**k-off, floodlight into my car while I was going around a corner next to him. I luckily didn't manage to hit either of them or the concrete divider but the little shit kept the light on when we straightened up....up until I pointed my old replica pistol BB gun at him.

If you're going to try and get a tailgater off your butt, it would be best to do something that isn't going to

1. cause them to crash, possibly into you

2. make it plainly obvious to any witness that you had a direct hand in their accident

FunFact: a small piece of that plastic they have on spark plugs can shatter a drivers side window when thrown.

2 years ago some arrogant ****head was tailgating me for a good 2 mins. I even slowed down several times and he just got closer. He eventually ended up ploughing into the back of my car and sent me crashing into the car infront of me. His excuse was, "There was an oily patch on the road and the car didn't brake in time." Even though it was a clear sunny day, no rain and optimal conditions.

I went through a year of physio and still have back and neck problems. I'm still angry about it even today, and if I ever see him again I will knee-cap the bastard and leave him permanent damage! :D I don't tolerate fools.

How do people get flames shooting out of their exhausts? One of my mates put a spark plug in his exhaust...But he was a bogan.

I love this idea I F#$KEB HHHHAAAATTTE people who drive with there high beams on of shitty cars that needs there headlights adjusted.

when i was coming home one night i had a p plater in his commodore sitting right up my arse, and he was really close so i tapped the brakes and he moved a little then i did it harder and he had to swerve to miss me he shat himself because he backed off a mile, then it went double lanes and he booted it thinking he was cool. and thats how you get rid of them, because if they run up your ass they pay for it and you can get really angry and bash them up. :D

hahaha.. some great stories there!

Had a hyundai excel up my ass the other day... Some guy with his g/f in the car, trying to show off i guess.

I just kept on going along at 60kmh (it was a 60 zone)... i was in the left lane as well, the right lane was free!

I just put up with it, i had just turned my car on, and was letting it warm up.

Really annoyed me but, would of loved to put some black smoke in his face haha

    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
    • Harness is for a s1 Rb25det, and it is engine and lower harness.  the old harness had broken off plugs and was in very rough condition/exposed wires and splices etc. it is not able to be put back on the car, I could visually inspect to see if they had rewired any pins on the ecu plug. The fuel pump definitly isn’t turning off it’s an external pump and very loud you can hear it. Will look at the other harness tonight, am also going to pull the fuel rail and watch the injectors spray, will update here with what I find. Pretty sure at this point it has to be something to do with injectors because car will fire up on starting fluid and cas is clicking the Injectors. Fuel pressure is steady 43psi
