Installing Speakers In R30 Door, Need Help

Hey people, just wondering whether or not it is a smart idea to cut out a hole big enough to put the magnet of the speaker through in my doors.

I have taken 2 pics and circled the area that needs butchering to make these fit.

If you can't tell by the photos it is an R30 coupe so it is pillarless, I don't know if cutting this little bit out will ruin the structural integrity?

if it was a 4 door id do, coz you can buy doors from anywhere if you needed to.

Coz its a 2 door i wouldnt. If the dash is the same as in the sedan, which im pretty sure it is, there are two spots

left and right of the dash facing downward which fit 4in speakers. You can buy some pretty decent 4 inch speakers or

4inch splits these days.

Dont butcher your doors.

BUT it is your car, so you can do what you like..
