IanH
Hiya, I've just found out that no-one in England can map a PowerFC for a R34 GTT because no-one has the right "lead" to connect it to a laptop (they can map GTR's but the GTT use's a different FC Commander version and needs a new lead to communicate with the laptop) and can only use the FC Commander which isn't ideal. Is there anyone who can get me a lead or tell me where to find one as I assume that your tuners have the right leads as they can map your GTT's. Any help is greatly appreciated and you'll be able to help map the 1st GTT in the UK! Cheers......................................................IanH Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/22102-r34-gtt-and-powerfc-question/ Share on other sites
Sydneykid
Hi IanH, we use the Commander to tune Power FC's. I have only ever seen two types of Commanders for R34's 415-N001 or 415-X001. http://www.meggala.com/powerfcmodel.html The above link shows the PFC and Commander models for each vehicle, it might help. Datalogit have a porgram for laptops to tune (and data log) but as far as I know it is only available for GTR's at the moment. Apexi Power Excel dealers in Japan have laptop programs supplied by Apexi, but the licence fees are expensive. I don't know of anyone In Australia that is a licensed Excel shop. Hope that is of some use Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/22102-r34-gtt-and-powerfc-question/#findComment-473006 Share on other sites
IanH
Thanks SydneyKid - The GTT needs the N001 Commander and I was sent the X001 so I'll have to change that anyway. Even with the right Commander there is still no-way to connect a laptop (and Commander won't be as good). I'm in contact with Datalogit about a GTT version so I'll let you know later how that goes. Cheers anyway.....................................................IanH Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/22102-r34-gtt-and-powerfc-question/#findComment-473955 Share on other sites

dojobi
I'm in contact with Datalogit about a GTT version so I'll let you know later how that goes. Ian, did you ever hear back from them about a GTT version? I'm probably going to be buying a GTT in the near future and I was hoping to get it mapped with the Datalogit software. IanH
Datalogit won't do a GTT version for a long time yet due to lack of interest! Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/22102-r34-gtt-and-powerfc-question/#findComment-634774 Share on other sites
dojobi
Oh well, I guess the hand controller will have to do. Thanks Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/22102-r34-gtt-and-powerfc-question/#findComment-636421 Share on other sites
666DAN
Hmmm kinda makes me glad I got the E-manage...it may not appeal to a few of you guys...but the software makes it a breeze to tune quickly.
