Crap Game.. sorry but MGS just doesnt interest me anymore. back on PS1/2 it was cool. I think this game could have delivered soo much more. but it seems its just chuggin on cheap gimmicks. did I buy a movie or a Game? the Cutscenes and dialog are long and Boring. And I do understand the story of whats goin on, but its presentation is just well... Shite. Gameplay is annoying too. much more I can go on about... so ill stop their.. graphics are sub-decent, why wasnt it 1080p? All in all if your not really fully into the whole MGS story and gameplay, I think you will be dissappointed...

Think i should get back to PC.

This is my first MGS ive ever played (thoroughly) and i love it. Story and Characters are awesome, love the cutscenes and the gameplay is great. I cant even notice the difference between cutscene and gameplay graphics, if there is any! I wasnt dissapointed at all. Absoloutly love this game.

Good work Kojima!!

Have setup online, but havent played it yet...

I will have to agree a tad, gameplay to me was a little annoying. Graphics are superb however.

You ask why it wasn't 1080p. You will not see a native 1080p game on any console this generation. It is upscaled to 1080p,

Back on PS1/2 it was cool and on PS3 here is still cool. I love it - I just finished it for a 3rd time  everything about it is just perfect - well minus a couple minor things that doesnt have anything to do with the gameplay/storyline but overall its still the best game I've played.

I've been playing it for the last 2 days. I'll have to say that this is the best game I have ever played. The story goes so deep that I really have to take my hat off to Kojima for coming up with somthing this elaborate. The graphics are so beautiful it shits on just about everything else I've seen. The surrounding is amazing, it really makes you feel like you are there especially Europe and Fox Achepelogos. Forget HL2, forget Crysis, this is the best game for me, EVER.

I was disappointed that ocelot didn't use his gun.....i know he's not really ocelot anymore but still.....would've been nice to see him doing richocet shooting again.

now I only ask for one more thing...............MGS1 remake

I would've love to see all the previous bosses in better gfx, especially Liquid snake. MGS2 had good enough gfx to properly see what they looked like, but Ps1 just had polygons.

I also hope they do a combined release mgs1-3 with all the gfx upgraded.

Lastly, I hope they don't make MGS5. This is perfection, no need to ruin it.

A good mate of mine biggest xbox fanboy out of my mates played MGS4 here at mines last weekend got about a quarter way through the second act and today he dropped by my house with all his xbox 360 gear told me to ebay it all so he can get PS3 and MGS4! :)

MGS1 Has been remade, Its called "MGS The Twin Snakes" and its on the gamecube. However the gfx arent as good as mgs4.

Bought this game last saturday. The graphics are perfect and as said before you can barely tell the difference between cutscene graphics and actual gameplay graphics. Story line is really good and in depth. Only real criticism I have is the Mk II I think it ruins the whole element of surprise if you stealth with it, but it does help a lot though. The whole customization of guns is the highlight for me :D I haven't got very far but is there any Sniper type boss fight like when you verse "The End" in the forrest in MGS3?

I tried playing it online the other night but I keep getting the message unstable connection and it disconnects after about 5 seconds, is that to do with my internet speed (Only on 256 ;)), or that im using a wireless connection? Or because I'm on another connections thats over the other side of the world!?

there's DEFINITELY a sniping boss level and the arena is WAAYY better than the forest back in MGS3.

I took the rail gun and went into practice mode....lined up about 10 soldiers and took them all out in one shot..........now THAT is satisfying.

Just for one game, its good but it aint that good. what an idiot.

I have one already, although does it have a hdmi port on it? As i got mine on launch and it did not come with it back then?

Well i hope he already caught up on the larger AAA games on his 360 before he got rid of it like Ninja gaiden 2, saints row, Bioshock, Halo 3, Gears of war, TC las vegas, forza 2, tc advance war fighter 1 & 2, project gotham racing 4, splinter cell double agent, prey, dead or alive 4, condemned.... and multi plat like gta4, assasins creed, pro evolution 2008, Oblivion, fear, call of duty 4, The orange box, devil may cry 4, virtual fighter 5 and future games like Resident evil 5, star wars unleashed, gears of war 2, soul caliber4, ufc 2009, fallout 3, far cry 2, mortal combat vs dc, left for dead, Fable 2, dead space, project origin, saints row 2, tom clancys end war, halo wars, splinter cell conviction, Alan wake, bioshock 3, fight night rd 4, mass effect 2, prey 2, star ocean the last hope, mass effect 3, Aliens.

Now dont get me wrong i love my ps3, mgs4 is one of the best ive played and blu ray movies are awesome. But the selection of 360 AAA titles past, present and future servely outscales my ps3.

So i think it was a bad decision, but each to there own.

He well love mgs4

    • The question then becomes - was there any fluid coming from that hole before you did the rebuild ?    You may not have noticed, of course.   Depending on how you did the rebuild, the possibility has to be considered that somehow (cleaning ?)  fluid entered that hole and is now being 'forced'  out by small movements of the proportioning valve.   From the factory, there's actually a small rubber plug in that hole but with age and under-bonnet heat it's quite common for it to 'go missing'.  That rubber plug is designed to allow the venting process but also to prevent 'stuff' getting to the area (prevent corrosion, etc).   The plug is also not available as a spare part AFAIA. Personally I wouldn't race and buy a new master just yet but keep an eye on the area to see if the 'leak' continues.   If you're concerned about brake fluid damaging nearby paintwork, cable tie a piece of suitable absorbant material over the hole and remove/monitor occasionally.    Operation of the proportioning valve and the brake master itself won't be affected, but also keep an eye on brake fluid level, of course. In terms of a new master, the genuine part is getting expensive, unfortunately.  Amayama is showing AUD900+.   I was searching recently and there's an aftermarket part available from Japan made by 'Parts Assist': https://zenmarket.jp/en/yahoo.aspx?q=BNR32%2bBM50&p=1 Whether it's any good I have no idea, although in my experience Japanese aftermarket stuff is pretty good quality-wise.   The above site allows overseas buyers to purchase stuff more easily from Japan but there are fees and shipping costs, of course.   The original Japanese seller page is here: https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/p1197401228 Copper/Nickel is fine but I still prefer bundy tube and it's also cheaper.
